This year marks the 100th anniversary of my grandmother bringing her two sons (11 and 14) to the US from Ireland, so I pulled this piece out to listen to on St Patrick's Day. I've gotten to a place where my favorite versions of many familiar pieces are the Barclay Brass arrangements (and of course performances).
Wow! This is unbelievable. Dave, your dedication to the most meticulous aspects of arranging is amazing. This is some of the finest brass writing I've ever heard! Not to mention the playing, which is equally incredible. Bravo to all of you for giving me all of this brass candy for my ears. Feel the might of military brass players unleashed to run like the wind.
That sound from the Tuba is incredible! It feels like a warm blanket enveloping me.

And the hits just keep on coming!
I think Grainger would be tickled pink to hear this rendition of his music, especially "In Dahomey".
A near impossible to realise perfectly piano piece transcribed to an nearly impossible to play brass score - amazing!
5:42 Actual chills. Fantastic performance.
Brilliant performance. I’m sure Percy would applaud you. As from me, always, well done euphonium performance on both mvmts.
This is just excellent. The arrangements, the sound of the ensemble, the musicianship, everything. You all sound beautiful.

Nice!
Do you have Suite of Old American dances recorded? How about Four Scottish Dances? New England Tryptich? I love the great work you’ve all done here.
We haven't performed any of those yet! Glad you're enjoying our channel!
Is the sheet music for "In Dahomey" available? Where can I buy it?
