Thank you for watching our LIVE dealer 3 Card Poker video at Green Valley Ranch Casino in Las Vegas. In today's video, my friend Courtney joined me at the table. We each bought in with a few hundred and decided to split the win/loss at the end. (This game is pretty volatile so it's a good way to help cover each other if playing with a friend.) She had never played 3 Card Poker so I give her a quick lesson and we get to work. Will she have beginner's luck?

Gotta say, I think it's outrageous that they make you play one hand blind when you're playing two spots. It's not enough that they're making you double your bet? (they don't even make me double my bets at my local casino but they did in the past, so believe me I get that part.)
Other than that, what a terrible run of cards. At least it sounds like you two were having fun! 😂
I don't understand it either. But I guess I don't have a choice. It does make it difficult to add the second hand.
I agree, we used to let people play 2 hands no problem. No need to double your bet or play blind. The only proviso was you made a decision on your first hand before opening your second hand.

It’s your money but you really need to pay attention to the pay table for three card poker. The ante and play bet is only one to one the pairs plus is we’re the action is and the six card is just a sucker bet.
You would think the 6 card has better odds. One day I will have to look at the house edge on each.

I play by "the book" but I'm not sure I have much of an advantage....lol. I definitely lose more than I win.

The odds in this game are the worst. Stick to blackjack the chances are better than 3 card poker. Sorry for the 400 dollar loss. Better luck next time.
We had fun. And we pooled our money for the day which is a great thing to do when spending the day with friends. Inevitably (okay...well usually) one person wins and one loses so it helps stretch the budget.

What is the logic behind making you play blind on 1 hand when playing 2 spots? Can't come up with any reasonable explanation other than they don't want one person taking up more spots unless they give the house a higher EV but even that is weak.
