I really like the port- it gives me some Los Santos vibes, too. I really like the contrast of the old and modern industry, and the residential and industry. It really makes the city look real.
Wow, just wow. I just want to say how much you have inspired me to make more realistic and detailed cities. You have been a big deal in me getting interested in architecture, I'm always looking forward to more videos and just wanted to say to keep up the vids. Thanks so much 2 dollar twenty 🙂
You asked for feedback, here it comes: I really like your work, there wasn't honestly a single episode that i wouldn't like. You kind of inspired me to improve my "building" skills in the game. I love how you take inspirations from diffrent cities and mix it in one. It's very hard to describe how much i like your work even in my native language.
Yeah subscribe containers from Avanya (props, buildings, stacks, trucks, trains) it shares the same textures and ram hit is minimal with loading screen mod.
The new containers look much better. Despite calling this a vanilla series, I think your rules from the beginning would be something like: you are 'allowed' to use assets from the workshop to replace bad looking vanilla assets (trees, containers,...) and also if something you really need is missing (retaining walls, skyscrapers, mods in general...). So, replacing the trucks and adding some other assets actually follows the rules you gave yourself a year ago, even if you maybe never stated them so clearly. Can't believe we're one year in already!
Two things: I would prefer you stay as vanilla as possible, as far as I can recall this series was never intended for realism, but rather to see how far you can go with what you have I would also love to see a tiny hidden path (possible over then train tunnel and underneath the highway coming from that neighborhood on the headland) to that beach you were building in the end, maybe something where the locals, especially the youth, are going to because there aren’t much tourist
Love both of your series :) the quote in episode 8 of city builders about making an atmosphere in your city helped me get back into cities skylines. also just subbed :D
I think you should use as many custom assets as you want, do not limit yourself :P more assets will only help you to create more interesting and various stuff in your city
I'm not sure how everyone else feels about it but, I could care less about it being vanilla or not...I'm just here to look at you build a cool city and if that's using mods, as long as it flows with what your building, then go for it...
I suggest you rework the trainlines in the port as some of the corners are super unrealistic (far too sharp), as well as the train yard which could benefit from at least 4 more individual tracks
I really like the bare hill with some trees dividing the industrial/port area from the main highway and the residential area. I think those differences in elevation add a lot to the city. About the assets, I disagree with you. I think you've been far from being a vanilla play through, even if you're not going overboard with the detail. You already uses 124 mods and assets from the workshop, so adding 15/20 more wouldn't change much. Just go for it. ;)
I'm looking to download the updated save game and play within the city. As long as they're not too many custom assets it should be fine. I play vanilla and still subscribe to some.
I think downloading some assets would be a great idea to improve the city. You should focus on the way it looks rather than the amount of assets you download
Great vid, but one question. How do the people coming from the tram stop get down? Maybe adding a staircase would be really cool and easy, but adds a lot of detail. Just an idea though.
I don't know what I can say about the railbends crossing the roads, especially without signs.. it seems so dangerous i dunno, it annoys me in some way...
I really don't like the idea of adding more assets to the series. To be honest I remember you saying that the aim of MM would be to make a fully functional city. Not the one that would just look nice and could be run somehow, but the one that would have all of its spheres operating fine (you also said something about the income but I guess it's not a real goal anymore). I would really like to see more city managment - satisfying people's needs, dealing with traffic, managing the industry, etc. I hope you'll reconsider your position on the series, at least a little bit :p
Adding extra assets won’t take me away from trying to schieve a functional city. It’ll just mean I have more options when it comes to building. Now that Montana is mostly finished I want to focus on city management and getting an income
vanilla just look ugly. i dislike this series bc of that. And i love all others of yours. I dont even watch those episodes just looking at the cinematics from time to time.
absolutely stunning and perfect cinematics
lmao when that car starts driving off the road and onto the track and you follow it all like "what are you doing mate"
time stamp

@@gabypoku thx

"Hopefully, you'll consider subscribing"... Having heard that I realized that I haven't missed a video in months so I might as well do it:D
Do a red light district. All cities have their rough edges
I have throughly enjoyed watching this series! So awesome!!!
No way has this series been out for a year! I can't believe it
For me, ur videos r 50% inspiration and 50% relaxation. Ur voice is really soothing and pleasant :)

I saw your channel only a few days ago, but I'm now caught up with Marble Mountain and Sichuan. Amazing work! Can't wait for new episodes :D
Realism matters, so yes in my opinion use the assets
Do whatever you want for Montana and marble mountain
Yeah subscribe containers from Avanya (props, buildings, stacks, trucks, trains) it shares the same textures and ram hit is minimal with loading screen mod.
Amazing city. I can only aspire to hit this level of content. Love it!
Wow, this episode came quick!
Just found the channel loving every video. Stunning city love the contrast. Keep up the great work.
It's getting nicer and nicer. Well done, mate!

Keep doing what you're doing. Good video
honestly i dont care how many assets you use as long as it can run on an above average pc

Amazing work yet again
Oh shit I have been here for a year now.
Looks great keep doing what ur doing buddy
Love this detailing
Love your work, as always. Keep it up!
Lowkey hoping for like a carnage steel factory
I don't think adding a couple extra assets is a big deal. This port area is looking great, by the way.
On my way to work, perfect time for a new video, what’s sup from Boston
I think you should use as many custom assets as you want, do not limit yourself :P more assets will only help you to create more interesting and various stuff in your city
Arcadia Portugal hmmmmmm so good

This city is looking amazing! I’d say use some assets from the workshop if you want!
What do think about add a Chinatown ? West coast cities have often a Chinatown neighborhood
Can we get some nighttime cinematics??
Sure thang

I'd love to see you use some more assets, it won't harm this beautiful series!
So you are making Jacksonville Florida!?!?!?!?!
Lovely work 👍🏼
I wanna live in Montana! Preferably in one of the farm houses
I think downloading some assets would be a great idea to improve the city. You should focus on the way it looks rather than the amount of assets you download

Download the custom assets :)
I don't know what I can say about the railbends crossing the roads, especially without signs.. it seems so dangerous i dunno, it annoys me in some way...
More custom assets!
Part of me kinda likes the cursor not being recorded
Definitely get real life trucks from the workshop. The vanilla ones are awful.
Too many fences around the train tracks. Most train tracks don’t have fences around them everywhere.
when will you work on gaining the money. I know its infinity but managing the city in profit is also cool. by the way love your city and ur creations
I keep putting it off but I hope to shortly
Skazhi eschyo raz "and".
Can I have some more episodes, sir?
I wish your video's were longer. Maybe around 30mins in stead of 15mins.
Need to work on budget

Download some assets
How do you have infinite money?
in the mod section
keep the lack of assets
Why is ur videos getting shorter and shorter every episode
vanilla just look ugly. i dislike this series bc of that. And i love all others of yours. I dont even watch those episodes just looking at the cinematics from time to time.
