This is my favorite set of Peggy's that I've watched so far. The set is phenomenal, but what makes it even better for me is getting to see a mix of everyone's different dancing styles, personalities, ethnicities, attire, their social interactions, all while dancing to the same common interest: the fantastic set of music put together by Peggy. There's something so entrancing about this video that I can't pinpoint to a specific thing but it just makes me happy to watch it. Plus, it's hard to beat the weather of Miami that allows everyone to wear what they want in order to express themselves or to be comfortable (assuming they don't want to wear winter clothing). I also love seeing all the love being shared in the form of smiles, laughs, and dances together. Peggy, you knocked it out of the park with this one, and Mixmag's crew, pat yourselves on the back, I really liked the composition of various angles that allowed us to peek into the social dynamics of people that you don't normally see because the camera angels are all too distant or too up close with just the DJs. tl;dr: I f'n ❤️ this set
I don’t really understand this kind of music and it all sounds like repetitive beats and mash-ups but this woman is mesmerizingly attractive and so chill. Love her vibes and personality
The style of music that Peggy is playing here is not at all dissimilar to the style of music that Sven Väth used to play in the clubs almost 30 years ago. It appears as though techno has gone full cercle.
In my opinion the old väth techno was much harder and "in your face" like. Its the style of techno which is today played in the tresor in Berlin. I think the songs Peggy is playing in this set, could devinitely be played by sven in his newer sets (for example the Tomorrowland 2017 set includes very similiar techno) Anyway, I love all kinds of techno :D
Today's techno music is much softer and more diverse than it was in the days back then. For me personally I couldn't cope with that hard style techno at first. When house came up, in 1997 and after, techno became softer and more different styles. Since that time I'm in.
Alvaro, in Germany House Music came up much later. It could be heard in small circles in the beginning of the 90ies, but became popular, particular in my region, in 1997-2000, after the rise of hardcore Berlin techno.
