I am Rahul -- the person riding with Abrar bhai the video. What actually happened was Abrar bhai and Karthegan came from below the flyover and I overtook them from above the flyover and reached the hotel before them - only to not find them there. I thought they missed the exit and went ahead looking for them! Ended up missing a great breakfast opportunity with Abrar bhai.Sigh!

One of the reasons of the success of Abrar's travels is that he choses affordable accommodations, travels like a middle class man and has down to earth demeanor. This resonates with millions of people around the world, as most people can't afford exhorbitantly priced hotels /resorts/travel means. There are fancy TH-camrs who reside in luxurious resorts /spas, travel 5* and behave snobbish. Most common citizens cannot identify themselves with this. More success and best wishes for Abrar..

India should be more careful issuing visas to overseas Pakistanis, it's not the passport that's traveling, it's the person who is Pakistani and orthodox Muslim. These people put Islam first. He is traveling in India but isn't showing any temples (apart from just one on the way). Indians are the most gullible, that's why we were invaded for centuries.

@@hamidhanjra We dont want tourists from Pakistan. We knew what they did - Sajid Mir, Dawood Gilani (Headley), Tahawwur Rana. They came as tourists first. Abrar is not in that category but I knew many such overseas Pakistansi who came to India. We want tourists from all over the world incl Pakistan (if they are over 65 years old with family ties in India or ancestry in India).
Observations from Pakistanis in the comments of this series till now - that’ll sound surprising to us Indians:
1. Women are free and working and outside and driving/riding.
2. So much development/construction happening.
3. Indians are so loving, humble and friendly.
4. Indians are educated, cultured and family oriented.
5. Indian cities aren’t as poor and run down as they were made to believe.
6. There isn’t as much poverty as they thought they would see.
7. There are so many old growth trees everywhere including next to roads and in towns.
8. India has so much natural beauty and greenery and jungles and biodiversity.
9. There is so much diversity in food, and houses and language from state to state.
Overall vibe is that their impression of India was wrong and changing because of this series.

I have been to India so I have an idea about North Indian cities... My Pakistani friend, who is doing PhD in Canada, told me that Farhan bhai my perception about India is changing with every video of Abrar bhai. This makes me wonder how so many Pakistanis dont know much about India (in general). Yet so many Pakistanis are so curious about India. Similarly, when i visited India in 2014 to meet my relatives, i figured out that a lot of Indians didn't have much idea about the ground reality in Pakistan. This means there is so much of disinformation or lack of knowledge on both sides of the border. Time to connect with each other and I hope Abrar bhai's series will play a big role in bringing people closer.

Oh God, Abrar bhai, old interior Ahmedabad is a nightmare to travel into, even for residents of Ahmedabad. You chose to ride a bike into it.. Hats off to your guts. It's extremely chaotic, but the old Ahmedabad city is the most exciting and the best place to feel absolutely at home. It was founded in circa 1300s by Gujarat Sultanate kings and is older than Mughal era. Old Ahmadabad irrespective of its chaos and challenges is love. People are cozy, helpful and there's non stop life, hustle and bustle for past 1000 yrs in the old, interior areas.
