I can watch those without telling Airsoft people to play Nerf, without telling car people they can just buy new cars, and hopefully If I’m roped into golf you don’t mind chatting a bit. It's not easy to do but you have to ignore them, you will have trolls no matter what, no matter your content is. I restarted to be interested in nerf at 27 now im 29, probably because now i can opposite to when i was a kid and couldn't. Im glad for all the content creators out here like you or Dr flux etc, + most of the time idk why but often foam youtubers are cute and pationate bears so it's a win win for me. I learned a lot because of your vidéos thank you !

My son 13 still plays with me at events but he soon will be to cool to hang with Dad and then what. I guess I will be the 40 year old guy playing with kids. I “like” those where somebody writes on a mod video: “Get a stock XY instead.” In order to write that you might do not understand what modding is about. I always try to explain that it is a hobby and it sparks joy to work on a project… The other ones are who just write that it is shi!t. I feel obliged to react calmly but answers never happen :)
One thing my grandma taught me is to never wrestle with pigs, in the end you are both covered in filth and only the pig is happy about it. The reason I love watching foam flinging content is to escape the constant, drilling negativity the world is spiralling into. Keep up the great work. This video reminded me to sub. Thanks.
Completely understand the Troll comment deal. For the most part stopped shorts because of it. You hit the nail on the head it is super disheartening when you see it. As a Foam fan we gotta have each others back! So many people didn’t get thought the if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. Also remember 99.9 percent of the people that give you a bad comment would never say it to your face.

I also find the "why don't you just X?" crowd fails to recognize that communities develop around specific hobbies and gives participating in that hobby a unique identity all its own. Airsoft and Paintball each have their own unique communities that are drastically different than the Nerf community, as an example.* *Not saying one is better or worse than the others, just different.
For trolls and bullies it's never enough. If they say "just play airsoft bro" they would say to the airsoft people "just play paintball bro" and to the paintball people they would say "just join the army bro." Nerf appeals to me specifically for its distance from any sort of real gun activity. It avoids the aesthetics and politics of guns in a way that I think airsoft and paintball don't.
7:10 - "You're Fat and Ugly" And this is why I do GoPro gameplay videos of the nerf hobby: I'm behind the camera, not on front of it. I also don't have a tiktok page for the channel. I just make videos of the events we go to, and the people that watch the videos are fellow UK players who are just enjoying the chance to see a video of the event they attended, but from other players perspectives. I've been lucky and not had any trolls, but my attitude would be simple: I don't care what you think, I'm having fun, and you're not going to take away from that.

Age should not prevent fun. I've played Nerf, Airsoft, and Paintball. They're all fun, with differing strengths and weaknesses. No need to pick just one (aside from budget and/or time, possibly.) Several of the folks I've nerfed with in the (all too distant) past were also Airsoft players. I saddens me to see people get so clique-ish about a sport/hobby. As for the trolls... I'm going to keep doing fun stuff. If they don't like it, well, they don't have to do it.

Its sometimes hard to remember that people online are actual people, but I agree that its usually intentional.

Don't over think it too much. Its all sociological. Nerf is your hobby, or work. If you need to communicate be mindful as anything can backfire.
