    I lucked into mine, I was looking through a local thrift store and a NIB Muji was packed in a bag with a bunch of pens and pencils, still had new cartridges and it hadn't been inked or even opened. Love it.

    In my opinion this pen is awesome i use it as my daily carry/writer and it has held up very good.I also like to switch inks and it just perfectly holds up. In my opinion this is a good workhorse pen!

      Yup its a trooper! Only thing for me is despite the knurling, the section is still a bit slick. But mind you I have very dry hands and things are slick for me. My phone constantly has trouble detecting my hands LOL!

    I just received and unpacked mine today before heading out to work.
    My first impression was that it looks very well made and handles nicely. Can't wait to get back home and fill it up.
    It looks like a cool "Tool". I don't think anyone will want to steal this pen from you, and at the same time I feel that this pen wouldn't look out of place either at an office setting, or even at a more vintage wooden writing desk.
    Very utilitarian. I just hope out holds up to daily use and abuse.

      I might have to do another video on fixing the nib. My little 2yr old got a hold of it for 30sec before I found out & bent the nib 😭. Might do a nib fix vid or just drop the $20 and order again

    @Doodlebud, I also love Peter’s channel and was enticed to acquire a Muji fountain pen after seeing him rave over it. Your review is on point, great pen for the price. Love your channel, am certain your subs will skyrocket, BTW your review of the Ranga Model 5 was also great, and there is now one on its way to me. Slippery slope!!

      Thanks buddy, it's a solid pen for the price. He has put that pen through so much use & it keeps on writing! Turned mine into a fine cursive italic & it's so nice!

    hi, just watched this, and was wondering how it held up? i am scared of cap getting bent. Does it feel like a empty soda can or is more substantial?

    • @Doodlebud
      @Doodlebud  ปีที่แล้ว

      No issues with the pen holding up. Its not much of a daily user for me anymore, but when I do use the pen it still works great.

    I am a 100% beginner, not sure what a converter is, how to use it or how to use the pen as it came. The instructions were in Japanese, I would love a beginners level how to that starts from the very beginning.

    Hey!!! I am considering buying one as my first ever fountain pain, however I have a question, i am someone who write alot and fast, would the ink last me a whole school day?

    • @Doodlebud
      @Doodlebud  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tough to answer that question. Depends on if you're using a cartridge or conveter & their ink capacity. Also, there's no way to quantify "alot" of writing, not to mention it's dependant on how large or small somone writes & nib pressure as that will impact how much ink is used. If you're really concerned about having enough ink, you might want to consider a pen with a larger ink capacity. Piston fill & vacuum fill pens hold more ink. Also eye dropper pens can hold significantly more but can be prone to leaking or "burping."

    • @rililie
      @rililie ปีที่แล้ว +1

      although it's now a year later and you probably already found a solution, I wanted to mention that you might consider using cartridges and always has a spare or two with you (it takes about 30 seconds to change them out). This is what all us school kids in Austria and Germany did, when it was obligatory to use a fountain pen in the first 4 years of school...
