I'd say if Perseverance were extracted and injected into a monster it would be a weaker determination that doesn't cause monsters to melt. But it doesn't stay forever. They will fade away after a long time. (Still VERY long)
I honestly love the idea of monsters being able to possess all 7 human soul traits (kindness, bravery, perseverance, justice, patience, and integrity) instead of just determination. Like, they could grant monsters powers like increased stats and endurance.
Power ideas
Bravery: gives the ability to no fear anything with a buff to attack as you will use your fists.
Justice: it gives you the ability to have a karma stat and allows you to get a buff to ranged attacks
Perseverance: gives the ability to come back after death and gives a buff to hp as you will stay perserverd and take things head on
Determination: allows you to save load and reset but diminishes your hp and defence as you have no fear of death but you get a buff in attack.
Kindness: you have a lot more defence and have the ability to heal yourself and others.
Integrity:idk tbh
Patients: to be able to dodge and be able to attack at the perfect time
@@MoeruBlaze Since integrity is essentially honesty, maybe it could make it your act stat is buffed (so like, it would take a noticeably fewer amount of act's in order to get a monster to be able to be spared)
@@copperbreadActually all human SOULs possess determination. It's what made them win the war against monsters so easily. I think the "traits" that many people assume human SOULs have are actually things that are tacked onto a human SOUL sometimes. There can be some with bravery, integrity, what have you, but at the end of the day, every human SOUL is filled with determination, and it isn't it's own trait. Still though, it would be interesting to see what would happen if a monster absorbs a specific human SOUL. Like, what would happen in Undyne absorbed the green SOUL, or Papyrus absorbed the blue or light blue one? Such possibilities.
@@MoeruBlaze I like these idea, but maybe you could remove the determination one? Determination is actually something all human SOULs have, and it isn't its own trait. Also for ideas for integrity, maybe the monster could have the ability to alter its own physics/gravity, since the magic that's tied to it can make the monster alter the human's gravity, and even move them around against their will. Basically, if a monster absorbs a blue SOUL, they can do this onto themselves, making them fly but lowering their DF to do so, making them heavier to increase their HP and DF but lower their AT, and maybe even become a mini-blackhole, which turns them into a sort of hyper-goner form that sucks anything and anyone near them, but also being incredibly unstable and lowering their HP, DF, and increases their AT.

This is a “No AU” just how like FFTBO and M87 was. Until they both got their own stories,example M87Tale is a unique AU I recommend giving it a read,and FFTBO(final for the Bonely one)!Sans is a sans who absorbed both the patience and justice soul.
For this Sans ima just say like. After a few genocide routes Sans is in desperate need of a new formula. So he takes one human soul(perseverance)and extracts the magic with it and ejects it into himself. It’s like “desperate times call for desperate measures” kind of thing.

What is the story of this character?
so far not much, other than that this takes place right at the end of a genocide route, like after you erase the world, and sans ends up coming back after death somehow to fight frisk in the void essentially, how he came back isn't explained, but he does indeed come back from the dead, the first animation i saw showed when Frisk checked before the fight, "it's nothing" as there was just the void, and then suddenly it glitched and showed sans's stats, and said "He's back" sans even says "Did ya miss me?" at the beginning of the fight
