right, like people can have problems and still be assholes. Most people have problems, life is hard, but that doesn't mean you can just treat people however you want. I 100% think everyone should go back to kindergarten and re-learn the golden rule.

As a person who went through bullying and reject, I did not like Samantha. The friends group was actually nice towards her despite the fact that she could be unconsiderate, cringy and intrusive. Sometimes, one should accept the fact that people cannot be your friends, especially when you pass mean unnecessary comments.

the producers definitely took notes from our reactions to season 1. they didn't let Marcus get bullied by ginny's outbreaks, they ragged on samantha, they gave us more abby, and they gave us more young Georgia and zion
The second season I felt had a lot more quality and felt deeper for me …
I also found mang more sympathetic.
In the first season I felt this was a mix out of many other movies and films and the content often didn’t end up, like especially the first episode when Ginny confronted that teacher about the book list- it remembers me of the movie 10 things I hate about you also the dynamic of Marcus and Ginny.
I felt the series
wanted to be like Gilmore girls so bad , evenso I dont find they were Gilmore girls at all.
I felt the series wanted to be everything we loved in pop culture for the last 20 years but with more attention to issues of our zeitgeist and sometimes they tried to refer to everything social issue in one scene.
I felt in season 2 the series found more it’s own direction and identity.
