Stefan Stärtzel is a climate risk and sustainable finance manager at EY. While his work has a clear focus now, it was the freedom to explore different areas he enjoyed while studying at IE University that helped him find his path.
The critical importance Stefan places on sustainability-he’s studying for a PhD in Climate Science and Finance alongside his full-time job-may not seem to go hand-in-hand with his Bachelor in Business Administration. But he says the fundamental understanding of how business and the world operate, and the transferable skills he gained from the program, are invaluable to him in his professional day-to-day.
