Hiya lovely I've tried so many different ways of eggs in my air fryer for poached just white vinegar works I boil my kettle like you but I put the bowl in and pre heat then add my egg I've a cosori 4.7l then 5 mins at 200. Boiled much less faf and less washing up 🤣 I've also baked some in ramekins still perfecting that 😀

Try putting the egg in a container....or a large glass with water (about a 3rd full) cover the top with your hand or lid, vigorously shake for around 20 to 30 seconds. That should see the shell get broken all round. I found about 98% success in getting the shell off.

I recently cooked 2 eggs at same time: Airfryer @ 200 for 7 mins and they were great. The only thing I would advise is crack open all eggs as soon as taken out of the Airfryer, because my daughter had 2 eggs, one was cracked open to eat - perfect but by the time she had ate that one and then cracked open the 2nd the yolk had carried on cooking so was nearly hard boiled than the 1st (they were small eggs mind)😃💕
Hi kerry you did poached egg 7 days ago and on the same settings as tonights vlog but cant understand how that came out harder than yours as your yolk and that was runnier than tonights one too even though they were both done on the same settings,I did prefer yours as I like runny yolks so the only thing i can think of which caused this to be different especially on the exact same settings is the use of the vinegar, you didnt use that on yours so I think the better version is yours cos no vinegars i did read the acidity in vinegar could cause the hardness i think this has happened in this case,so i much prefer your version what you did the other day that had no vinegar as yours was lovely and how I like mine too.
I really enjoyed making the 'boiled' egg (was pleased how it turned out) I also thought I would have another go at the poached egg with the new ingredient white wine vinegar, because the very 1st attempt the egg white collapsed and someone suggested using vinegar, so same settings 200 airfry 7 min but with vinegar as new component. Yolk was a bit overcooked for me, but the egg white was perfect, so the 2nd attempt all the same except for timings at 6 mins. Happier with that result👌😋💕
Thank you Greg! And welcome.... I will do 4 eggs and let you know👍👍Soft boiled or hard? I did 2 on Sunday at same time, airfry 200 for 7 mins, the 2nd egg was eaten after the 1st and was a bit more cooked. I wonder if they carry on cooking. I've read some people dunk in cold water before peeling but that's for hard boiled, not sure it'll help soft boiled. All very eggciting thou (sorry!😄)

Thank you June💕💕have added you to the cosori giveaway 👌💕
Hi, new to your videos.
Very good.
Would be interested in time for 4 boiled eggs.
@@budgetcookinguk Hi Kerry, hows you? I have been looking for the link for the salt and pepper grinders, but forgot which video you mentioned them in. We have a Cosori Dual Blaze that we bought first, but then bought the Ninja AF400 because of the convenience of the two baskets. Thank you for your great videos. You forgetting stuff is just like us, lol. Greg
@@gregdoull1190 all good thank you v much Greg, hows about you? Hope all is well your end. I'm liking your Airfryer collection👍the mill grinders, I do love them, the grey is best priced as the colourful ones jump up in price. Link is for amazon but I bet they're on ebay a little bit cheaper, if you don't mind waiting longer for delivery amzn.eu/d/3N12yCU
@@budgetcookinguk Hi Kerry, I Found them on Amazon. The grey one was £14, the red one £16.08 They now seem to be £24. Brilliant. I managed to get the name when you held it up long enough lol.
I did 2 eggs a 200C for 6.5 mins, one was a bit white runny, the other ok. We did a 3rd egg on its own and it exploded just over halfway through time. No preheat on first two. Preheat on 3rd, ooops.
Trying to get betty Crocker sponges to turn out right now , with the 6" tins. The Cosori Dual Blaze cooked the two halves brilliantly, albeit at two lots of 22 mins. Take care.
Not sure what the oil does as it will just float on the top of the water!
was following a Airfryer recipe for poached eggs🤷♀️I assume it was to stop the egg sticking to the ramekin
Hi new sub thank you for sharing. How did your xmas cake turn out please.
Thank you for subbing Susan!🥰 there is a vlog of me decorating it - 1st attempt. Have to say it was delicious (eating over xmas), am hooked - will make another for next xmas😋💕
@@budgetcookinguk thanks take care.
for your poached i would just use a smaller bowl and leave it in the water with a lid on
Thanks for the tip Dave👍I wonder if the lid would stop it cooking as the heat comes from above? I will eggsperiment with your suggestion 😄🥚💕
all good whatever yummmm
Yup love an egg😋🥚💕
Poached egg... I think if you start with tab water not hot from the kettle if might be better
Worth a try, thank you for the suggestion👍
i pouch my eggs 2 minutes max,, 3 minutes boiled n rest 3 minutes ,, perfection,, ex lg eggs,,pouched eggs are not suppose to go into boiling water,, n u should hv swirrled the water first,, but,, great job for ppl that like it med,, over cooked for me,, ru fir showing us,, who would hv thought,, right,,
Eggs in my ninja? Really?? Wow
Perfick!
Why not insert the egg you are going to boil in the water with the poached egg, save time and energy! I do my boiled egg in the air fryer, but add two tablespoons of water 5 minutes, never tried the poach egg, but will! Cheers!
She was testing different ways of doing eggs, you wouldn't normally cook a boiled egg and poached egg for brekkie.
@@janetpendlebury6808 She did!
Probably cost twice as much doing that than in a pan of boiling water🤷♂
I doubt it, air fryers are extremely economical.
I really do not see the point, egg boiler/poacher £5
Just an experiment Steve 😀👍
@budgetcookinguk what next drying clothes 🤔😉
@stevebomonster socks! 😂😂😂
@budgetcookinguk with a banger inside, a socksage roll..... 👍
I would like your spare grabber please
Very sorry Christine, the draw has happened and is on tonight's vlog
Stop rattling on and get on with it
Please rehearse you script before filming…
