Thank you for the feedback. You know this 🎥. Every week we're learning something new. In the following videos, I will try S-Cinetone and we will see 👀 Regards my friend.
Hi! Great video! I’m considering going all Stiga! You have maybe talked about it already and for that I’m sorry. For me dragongrip will be half the price of dignics 09c. But some say that the dignics 09c lasts way longer. What is your opinion on that? Which rubber is more durable?
I think is possible that 09c lasts a bit longer. But I don't keep a rubber for more than a month. It depends about the amount of training/playing time you use them. I remember the maximum time with a rubber was around 2 months especially for my backhand, just because of my game style playing more with Forehand. Every player is different. And now, I just switched to the NEW DNA Dragon Power released a month ago from STIGA.
@ Thanks for the reply. So you don’t think there are any massive differences in durability between the two? I have seen you replying and saying that 2 months is the average durability for you. Could you give me a reference on how many hours that is?
@@danielhenriksson9400 I'm training around 3/4 hours, 4/5 days a week and league during the weekend. I think around 2 months is ok "For Me". I like to brush a lot but that's just my game style. Best performance the 1st month. But every player is different. For sure, for players brushing less the ball it will last longer.
Nice setup then 🤗. I tried that one, and then when I got confidence on my backhand, I switched it to a sticky too. We will see. For now, sticky on both sides working fine. 🏓👌
hi, i couldn’t agree more having dragon grip with the cybershape is just fantastic. I put it on my FH and using victas ventus stiff on my BH. But I heard that the durability of dragon grip isn’t as good as D09C after several months of use. Let’s hope this rubber can last long
If you want max performance with DNA DG I will say around 2 months. It depends on how often you practice/play a week. I'm training 3 hours, 5 days a week. And sometimes tournaments on weekends. And 2 months is a good number. I doexpect any rubber lasting a year with MAX Performance.
I have just bought three sheets of DG and two DNA platinum at one go..Have given up on Dignic as it only offered me less than 2 months of joy. The quality of the rubber dropped too fast..Just bought FZD alc and FZD salc, may put it all on to it.
You're right. In 2 months "average" you notice a change in performance. Always it depends, how often you train with them. Thanks for sharing your experience 🏓👍
Victor, have you heard of the new Stiga Dragon Power rubber in 52.5, 55 and 57.5 degrees? I wonder if you will get a chance to review it and post your review online?
I am a new player (5 months) with stiga offensive classic. I went quickly to dhs hurricane 3 neo commercial on forehand after about 3 months because pingsunday youtuber said that its not wrong to learn how to play with sticky rubbers. I find it very difficult and am thinking of going back to the rubber I started with, which was Yasaka Rigan. The sticky rubber gives a lot of spin and control in small touches close to the net because it has zero bounce (negative bounce), but it is much less consistent. My brave thought for trying sticky rubber was that I figured there would be more reward for when I hit the ball correctly, and so more feedback to me in how to develop my stroke, but I think the amount of force that is needed to produce a good stroke with DHS H3 neo is too much for a beginner. Even tho I tried playing very much, my muscles and brain could not keep up with the amount of playing that is needed. One other thing I like with sticky rubbers are the ability to make really advanced serves.
Hey 👋. I started with sticky rubbers being a kid, while I learned the fundamentals and basics. But every player is different, and maybe you could try an all around rubber, like Razka 7, Gewo Nexxus or Stiga DNA M or S. In this stage, you will spend a lot of time building your forehand, backhand, timing and feeling with the ball. My best wishes to you in this journey. Training is the only way to improve 👊
The only thing I can say, is that be aware that sometimes I felt that the rubber was susceptible to weather changes like temperature, moisture, etc. That's why sometimes I felt it harder or softer. Hard is fine, but too hard 🤨 sucks.
I don't do Coaching but for sure I will give some advice in the Channel. For now, spending a lot of time in training. And working in the following video 😊👌

Love sticky rubbers.. playing with rakza Z extra hard with 1 layer of boost only and it s just perfect match for me, the control is unparalleled, sure you have to hit hard to get speed but i don t have much problem with that beeing a competetive bodybuilder i have extremely strong core and legs
Victor, Which of these two rubbers is the most linear in power and which is better for low speed shots like short serves and pushes? I can't see me changing from G-1 but it's nice to know the options and the price of Dragon Grip is appealing compared to 09C.
Hi Sam 👋. Both are similar. 09c slightly faster and softer. I don't know how and why DNA DG is more susceptible to weather variations. Sometimes feels harder in cold 🥶 venues. For money wise 💰, DNA DG is worth it to try but for consistency go to Dignics 09c 100%. Regards

@@VictorMoraga Are you using dragon grip on both sides with the cybershape? Would be Dragon grip on forehand and Tenergy 05 for backhand a good setup with the cybershape?
@@suleimanjabour7665 it sounds good to me. I like that DNA Dragon Grip is not too bouncy and with 05 you will get the extra power you want to give to your backhand. On my side, I prefer to keep DNA DG on backhand for a better control handling the block and then ready to attack.
Dang, you're reverse penhold is fantastic! I wish mine looked like that! I'm thinking about getting a new penhold setup sometime soon, as I'm playing a lot more at my club at University. I'm currently leaning toward a Hurricane 301T for the blade, Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial blue sponge (39 hardness) for Forehand and Victas V > 15 Extra in that sweet new ITTF approved blue color for RPB. Does this setup sound alright to you? For the Victas V > 15 Extra should I go with 2.0mm thickness or MAX (which is 2.2mm I believe). Hurricane 3 boosted, right? If you want more spin, definitely go to MAX with the Victas, but if you want to feel more the ball, go to 2.0 Table Tennis, is crazy. A formula for one person, doesn't apply to everyone. Depends of many factors, but your setup sounds pretty reasonable. Let me know how it works for you. Hurricane 301T didn't feel very woody for me 😄. I love the Wood feeling 👊
@@VictorMoraga Thanks for your reply! Sorry for the late response. I plan to boost the Hurricane 3. I've also never tried a carbon blade before, so I'm exited to get one as they seem to be popular. Hi Matheus 👋. In my opinion, Dynasty is a tiny bit faster. The main difference between both is that Dynasty is Carbon Outer and Cybershape is Carbon Inner. For me, I have more control and feeling with Cybershape. Well balanced in Speed/Control 👌
I am currently using boosted H3 National on my forehand. Great rubber but expensive and not always easy to get hold of. How similar is the Dragon Grip to the H3 National?
You know every player is different. And I like to feel the ball and I know that the feeling comes from a mix between blade glue and rubber. For my testing, I kept the same blade, glue, etc. DNA DG and H3 are similar in control, a bit higher H3 because of the tackines. DNA DG is high throw angle, so you will pass the ball to the other side safely. H3 makes the ball to fly straight. For some that capability is great, for me too straight is dangerous. Take care.
@@VictorMoraga thanks for the reply. Enjoy watching your games, I’m a lefty too and play a very similar style but not with penhold and certainly not to your standard but even at 57 I do still feel like I’m improving. 😃
Hi Victor, I'm curious about the Stiga Cybershape Carbon, what are the differences between it and the STIGA VPS 5 (which I'm using), outside of shape, do you think? Also, I'm thinking of switching from Hurricane 3-50 to DNA Dragon, do you have any suggestions for me?
Hi 👋. My wife used Stiga VPS eternity before. And I tested it a little bit but Cybershape Carbon is better than VPS in almost everything. Well balanced blade, just correct stiffness, and I loved the control I got. You can almost use any rubber on that blade. Before to try DNA Dragon Grip what kind of player are you? If you want to make the transition on the blade side 100000% recommended, but for the rubber depends of your type of style. Donic BlueGrip C2 is a great balanced option and other medium/hard rubbers too. Andro C53 arrived to the market now with similar characteristics too.
@@VictorMoraga Thank you Victor. I like the power approach, so I've played pure wood blades before, but I don't like blades that are too soft and shake my hands on defense. I also like to twist, but I'm a little worried about the hexagonal blade being inflexible on short balls. I like the Hurricane 3, but it requires frequent glue brushing, so I'd like to try the DNA Dragon and the DONIC C2. I've placed an order for the DNA Dragon on Amazon UK, but it doesn't seem to be in stock (20 days have passed and they still haven't shipped).
which one do you reccomend for BH 09c or dragon ? Im using cybershape with r45 in BH and DNA platinum S in FH I want to change to somthing more sticky Thanks for the review btw!
On my side I made a small change. Dragon Grip on FH and Platinum H on BH. If you're looking a sticky rubber on FH both are great, but money wise you should DG a bit slower and a bit harder that 09c. I love the capability to keep the serve return short with DG and with proper technique you can make a rocket with spin. Try Dragon Grip and let me know. 🙌🔥
@@VictorMoraga I try DG on FH a few days,as you said this rubber need practice and adjust some angle for good qulity shot(obviously help me lift backspin easily) but lack of speed when smashing hard(ball go to the net)made me confuse a bit, let me try for a mont if it not match to my style maybe i'll back to Platinum M or H 😅
@@KKPP_wp What it pushed me to find something else after D09c, was to keep the ball short for serve return. DNA DG fits my needs on that part. But, personal preference. Every player is different. Apart of that, I love the consistency with counter loops and control. I put many players in problems when because of spinny topspins 😄 🥳 and I like that 🏓. Take care.
@@VictorMoraga that's sound good i'll try shoot the rocket topspin too lol and what about duarability of your DG right now? (Some comments say the tackiness is gone too fast)
Hey 👋. Thank you. Not at all, I 'm currently training that one. I think any sticky rubber help us to do it easier, because of the surface. I mean, easier to make that small curve because you're close to the net. If you try it let me know how it works 💪. Regards 🏓

Abrazo.
@@VictorMoraga gracias por tu respuesta!! Igual me exprese mal ,disculpa .

Have you tested the C53 from andro and compare to those rubbers?
Hi Fahrisa, I haven't tested any Andro rubber yet. I'm pretty sure someone made some testing for that rubber on tabletennisdaily.com forum.
@@VictorMoraga Ok No probs
which one do you reccomend for BH 09c or dragon ?
Im using cybershape with r45 in BH and DNA platinum S in FH
I want to change to somthing more sticky
Thanks for the review btw!
@@KKPP_wp I change them around 2 months and always using cleaner and plastic sheet of protection 😊
De donde eres?
Hey Joahnn 👋.
i really like your forehand topspin style👍🏼
is the dragon grip hard to do flick on backhand? thanks in advance🙏
Hey 👋. Thank you.
Not at all, I 'm currently training that one. I think any sticky rubber help us to do it easier, because of the surface. I mean, easier to make that small curve because you're close to the net. If you try it let me know how it works 💪. Regards 🏓
@@VictorMoraga i see... ok i will get it a try. thanks so much bro moraga🙏. best regards... bali, indonesia🙏
@@damafangfang6938 did you play with any sticky rubber before? If not, sometimes the 1st week feels crazy, slow, and not enough power. But after that, you can do everything 😊
@@VictorMoraga never on backhand..... ok i think i will try it soon. btw im also a penholder rpb😊🙏
HI,
How much does a complete racket weigh? Do you feel any discomfort in your wrist if the racket is very heavy?
Cybershape + 2 DNA Dragon G: 190 grs.
Dynasty Carbon + 2 D09c: 186 grs.
You will notice a discomfort if you get a heavier or lighter racket.
Important, how to hold you racquet and wrist workout. Regards
@@VictorMoragaYes. You’re right. I can sense a discomfort with Cybershape because the front tip is quite heavy. How to balance is still a question. How about your experience in holding the blade and your grip, can you share? Thank you
Does both rubber speed the same?
I should say Dignics09c is faster and it bounces more. I'm not saying DNA DG is slow, just a bit slower than Dignics09c.
@@VictorMoraga how is the durability of dragon grip
How long u been using the same one
@@jackhsieh3955 good question. I 've been training 4 or 5 days a week, and 3/4 hours each day of training. And I replace them between one or two month depending how close I have a tournament. It lasts longer than H3.
I do like sticky rubbers but you have to think about twice since its so challenging for any amateur to hold these heavy rubbers on both wings. I think you might injury your wrist with such heavy setup.
Hi Jonyer80 👋. Thanks for your comment. Let me share my wife's experience. She started training a few months ago with Nittaku Acoustic Carbon + 2 Dignics09c. 3 months ago, she switched to rubbers DNA Dragon Grip. And she's doing a great progress. Maybe, I will make a video with her progress.
I started training being a kid "10 years old" and we used heavy setup with old Chinese rubbers like Globe999 and Friendship RITC 729. I understand the point about "Heavy" but every person is different. And I'm totally agree with you that if you feel uncomfortable with any weight you should take action immediately. Regards 👋 🏓
@@VictorMoraga Sure, ive been for +25 into TT and but the older I get the more concern I'm about injuries. I also own Acoustic which is actually quite head heavy, but couldn't stand with it due to the weight. I think for any amateur it's better not to go over 195gr by any means in order to prevent any wrist issues...
Best wishes& congrats for your channel
@@jonyer1980 thanks. And also, like you said "Weight" is another "Underrated topic". I keep tracking the weight even when I change rubbers, glue, etc. Thank you for sharing your experience 🙌
2:32 that would be the most important reason TBH
Remember that some players don't care about money, just performance. I'm so lucky to find a great rubber with such a nice price 😍
@@VictorMoraga where do you buy the stiga dragon grip?
@@javiercardenas9987 I 'm always looking some deals on tabletennis11.com or dandoy-sports.com

I 'm using Stiga DNA "Dragon Grip" on FH and BH. Same rubber on both sides. The only option is 2.3 mm. Regards

Hola!
Abrazo.
@@VictorMoraga gracias por tu respuesta!! Igual me exprese mal ,disculpa .
Hi Victor, as usual thanks for the high-quality video. A pleasure to watch.
Have you played Neo H3 provincial or national? I wonder if you can compare 09C to it?
Hi Benny. Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I really appreciate it 🙌.
I tried H3 National, not using my own blade, using different DHS blades. The spin was great, but I didn't like the feeling. I know different people boost with 2, 3 or 4 layers of Booster but I can't imagine myself using them. I need a better feeling "In my opinion of course".
Have a great week.
Very nice rubber for BH but really after 1 month the rubber is gone.
I see a similar situation where the best performance for those rubbers are about a month. Training on my side, from monday to friday 3 hours.
I trained 3x week 4h each session and played 3 big tournaments. So 1 month was the max for both rubbers (BH / DG and FH / ©️DNA Hybrid M)
+ I have the feeling Hybrid is factory kinda boosted/ Klick sound, was also gone after 1 month :)
But thanks for confirmation :)
My 5 year old daughter could cut those rubber better 😂
🙌 I'm always ready to keep improving and learning 😁👌
