I bought one of these a few years ago. I won it in a Gunbroker auction for $210. The manual warns to use 124gr. or heavier bullets. Most of the ammo I shoot is a 122gr. cast lead roundnose. They work fine. The first time I took it to the range, I ignored the manual and brought a bunch of 115 gr. FMJ bullets. The first magazine I ran through the gun had ONE failure to feed. Hmmm. It never happened again. 🤷♂ I like the gun. I like that it has no protruding appendages. It conceals and carries very well. I don't carry it much, I have lots of other pistols to choose from, but it's a good gun.
@@stewb520 I like it for its intent as a minimalist 9mm CC handgun. For a striker fired gun the trigger pull is perfect for self defense...and crappy for target shooting. Just as it should be. The lack of an external slide release is fo no consequence for a concealed carry handgun at all. In fact, I rarely use the slide release on any of my handguns that one. It makes the Nano very smooth and snag free. That said...I don't load and attach striker fired guns to my body. I *carry* only DAO, hammer fired, handguns. I own several striker fired guns and they are good "drawer guns" Unfortunately, the people who do carry striker fired guns wanted guns with unnecessary bells and whistles and the Nano has been discontinued.
The lack of external slide lock was just to keep it slim and reduce any potential snag points. If you want to add one you can get the APX Carry grip module and slide lock. The Nano is still around, Beretta just changed the name to APX Carry/APX Carry A1. The mags are also interchangeable.
Would you consider selling a couple of your magazines? I'd be interested, if so. I have zero issues with my nano. I polished my feed ramp & did some other mods... works flawless.

You can use APX Carry mags. They go for 30-40.
