Thank you for doing this. Yours is the first video I've found that not only explains it well, but also goes slow enough so we beginners can understand.
Random discovery: I cannot watch this and do any crafting myself. I literally ignored what I was holding the entire time. This was super cool to watch.
Stumbled on your videos looking for videos on making whip crackers and attaching new fall. You have great explanation and teaching style is very easy to follow. Lots of encouragement from me to continue your YouTubing career.
This is the most amazing way to do this that I've seen. I'm getting my stuff to make a whip for the first time this week and you and Nick from Nick's Whips totally inspire me and help me feel like I can learn how to do this. I know it won't be as easy as y'all make it look...but Im hopeful to make nice whips over time. Thanks! I came here by way of Nick's
Ah, because I don’t want to. While I’m happy to show people how to repair their whips I do still own a whip making business and would rather people purchase from me than make their own. There are also many great whip making tutorials by talented people already on TH-cam.
I’ve never used a threaded paracord needle so that’s not a problem.. You can use any small piece of metal or thick wire, if nothing else you can cut up a wire hanger and that will work perfect.

Really like this fall technique, Dakota! You and Adam inspired me to start making them this way.

Very nice! I'll have to give that a try!
Thank you for all videos. Amazing. Just finished my first orange whip :)
Nice
That was fascinating.
Amazing. Why don't you make video building a whole whip?

@@dakittywhips4849 Exactly. It's the part of business that some people don't understand. The fact that it's a business.
I dont have a threading needle what are some other ways I could make a fall?

For the life of me I can’t get this needle to thread. Hardest part of the whole process by far
I’m not using a lacing needle, I find them annoying. I’m simply using a piece of wire and slipping it inside the paracord before I fuse the end.
