I really love the NJPW Japanese audiences. They don't show up to be wild and make noise, so when they do have those kinds of reactions you can really feel how genuine it is, and emotional. They aren't chanting about how much they appreciate the work, but actually losing themselves in suspension of disbelief. I am excited about AEW, but now twice as happy that Kenny plans to go back to Japan for more matches.
@01101101 01100101 01101001 I certainly enjoy the way the Japanese fans are in wrestling. U.s fans like to make it about them with signs and changes and everything gets played out. Hearing " thank you _______ " chants and " you deserve it " is nice the first time but now crowds just want to have their moment and it's gotten annoying. The indy crowds in england/Europe are even worse .

Learning about the story of the Golden Lovers is what turned me back into a wrestling fan.
That's exatly what happened to me, such deep story touched me in a way that nothing else did. Now I'm in love with wrestling again.

Bret was great in ring and his heel run with the anti America angle was great but Kenny is far superior overall already. He didn't have a machine pushing him like Bret. This guy basically popped on TH-cam bc most didnt watch njpw live
John Pollock is an excellent interviewer but he tends to look off and away from the person he's interviewing fairly regularly, which kinda bothers me. I dunno if it's just something he does instinctively but it makes him look disinterested and disrespectful to the interviewee. Minor complaint though

John is terrible at what he does. He leaves Omega bored, asks him a question then looks away while the answer is given, and pretty well just makes crap up on the fly.

Swear to god never knew Kenny Omega was gay or Kota for that matter but guess what? Now that I know I dont view him differently or give a fuck frankly. I kn0w it matters to the lgbtqabcd community but tbh, i hope this isnt the forefront, leading "storyline" that wont go away because, who cares? Its private stuff. And a compelling story!
I love that wrestling is changing and becoming innovative, but I hate that the greatest wrestler in the world is an executive, and hasn't wrestled all year aside from one day in Jan. I wish Kenny Omega would be shared amongst other companies and I could see him perform more, and leave the executive part of AEW to the Jackson, Kahn, and Rhodes families.
