I'm so happy you covered STALKER MODS, I downloaded some right as I heard you say that, I think with mods this game is going to be absolutely sick! And so far, I'm loving the quality of life mods! Also, I'd 100% watch these kinds of videos from you! I'm surprised you haven't done it sooner to be honest!
I got a bug during one of the missions where i had to fight about 25 guards, and i kept getting shot through walls. No matter where i hid, those fuckere were beaming me. Finally decided to reatart the game and it fixed the problem.
mod gang please for the love of god give us staged reloads its criminal stalker 2 released in 2024 and doesn't have staged reloads especially because half the guns reload animations you put the rounds/mag in and rack the slide gun goes click it should be ready but then you switch weapons or sprint and find out that the animation wasnt done and your guns not actually reloaded.
As someone who is just stepping into the stalker universe this game is actually fun and challenging and for someone like me who is use to all these new hand holdy type games from modern triple A this is a breath of fresh air
This is actually something I don't want turned off, it's more realistic. Same for ammo weight, I feel like people mod immersion out of the game. What I would ADD tho is being low weight reducing fall damage. I tried it and it didn't work, disappointed.
I feel like the combat even on hardest is too lenient aswell. Mutants are bullet sponges and humans too unless you hit the head, and the player can just tank gunfire like it's nothing
@@Jetiko27 people also complaining about mutants being sponges but they're like 10 hrs into the game and have the crappiest ammo. There are gun modifications and specific ammo types designed to combat armored mutants in the vanilla game. I really don't want them to change anything regarding vanilla balance to cater to these people who could just mod the game anyways.
This is my first time playing a Stalker game and GOD im in love. I didnt know what I was missing, this is really the first open world game ive loved in years, im excited to try the OG games now
The OG games are definitely a vibe, but if you're looking for the next level, you should check out Call of Chernobyl and Anomaly (standalone mods) and the sub-mods for Anomaly such as Gamma, Anomaly Custom, Anomaly Texture Overhaul and Atmospherics (only if you don't use Gamma, as Atmospherics is included in the Gamma modpack) and EFP is also good. Misery is...well, not a very fun experience. (In true Stalker fashion, it's not meant to be.) There's also quite a few mods that enhance the vanilla games and don't touch much of anything else. I can't think of many I actually use though, except for the "Remake 2.0/3.0 Mod" for Call of Pripyat. It does enhance some textures and models, but it's minimal. I do recommend deleting the reshade it comes with though. Performance tanks otherwise, and it looks better without all that awful bloom. The Emissions/Blowouts look best in the Remake mod IMO. Peak atmosphere. If you want to tweak the game to your liking, there's also a lot you can do by just editing the .ini files to make weapons actually do realistic damage, scale enemy health and damage, etc. Change zoom levels, the sky's the limit. That's the main reason this series has stuck around so long, you can tweak and change almost ANYTHING. And that's really powerful.
One thing to note, if you have the game on gamepass, it's still moddable. The main folder to put the mods in is not hidden under some encrypted folder like most xbox game pass games are.
What stops most people is the fact that you can't just jump in and start "today" as is almost always implied. You need a creative mind , a lot of time and possibly some questionable life choices. Most others are stuck with their 9-5 and have maybe an hour to dedicate to something new daily. So if you arent 16 and don't have all that time available ... good luck!
@@NightFyreTVif it’s something you want to do then you’ll make time, if you have a family and a full time career then yes it’ll be very difficult to implement even more hobbies. Just do what you can
@@NightFyreTV I can assure you, I’m not 16. Have I made questionable life choices? Definitely. Did they result in financial success? They did, but modding has always been, and still is, just a hobby. If you're passionate about something, you'll find time for it.
@@NightFyreTV Sorry but that's complete and utter bollocks. If you can't manage your time properly then that's on you, most people who work jobs have time for hobbies and modding is one of them for a good chunk of people.

Console gamers to my knowledge still have even less access to them. Theoretically platforms like Steam could allow for easier access and usage of mods. But many devs want to control the content that is available. I might be blind right now, but even Stalker 2 doesn't seem to support the Steam Workshop? People have to go outside of Steam to get any? One thing I really love about the stalker mods is bullet sponge removal and weapon durability. It's unrealistic for a firearm to to be breaking down after shooting 60 rounds.
The reason modders are fixing things faster than devs is because all these mods are untested and do not undergo the rigorous dumb corporate process to release.
It’s really awesome that GSC has taken notice of the modding community for stalker and is in full support of them, allowing them the tools from their engine and game to create more for their game, some people prefer a more Vanilla game style and GSC is also in support of that, GSC has come to prove that a game developer that cares about what the community has to say and hears what they are saying shows how much character and personality they have. I’ll always give GSC massive props for their games including their previous games and allowing modders to create standalone mods such as Anomaly and Call of Misery and Call of Chernobyl.
okay so i actually dont mind being unable to sell the broken weapons, it makes sense more or less right, the thing i don't like is not being able to do anything with them, it'd make sense to be able to scrap them for like what, under a percentage of its value, hell even have it be crafting materials but that'd be a whole new system they'd have to implement post launch so that's fine really. Even just selling the metal would be cool, maybe certain vendors buy scrap for more then say hamster would.
6:16 The PSN account requirement definitely is a huge factor because we can't even search the game in Steam. Just like Helldivers, those who already bought the game can still play but my friends who did not purchase the game yet can't buy the game from Steam anymore.
Having a lego video game based on a lego set which is based on a video game is so fucking dumb. The next thing is making a lego version of the lego game so you get lego^2
I want this to be a weekly thing. I already follow Skillup's weekly gaming news videos, but he covers the industry as a whole and news about games I actually play usually get left out. Bigfry doing weekly news will be great, more focused content and all that.
I cant lie i wasnt in my mind saying oh lets have lego horizons, but honestly having been playing it, its kinda a nice laidback game with a decent bit of difficulty(at least before you get down the attack patterns which doesn't take long lol) 30 bucks woulda been a lot better, i'd even say 19.99 would be a little less than the game deserves if you're into both real legit legos/lego games and horizon in general
It is ridiculous that you can't sell a broken firearm. When you can do that in real life. Heck you can even sell parts of a weapon or what they call a weapons kit which is not even a complete firearm. You can absolutely take apart a broken weapon and remove the good parts and sell that. Of course it won't be the same price as a functioning firearm but that's what the game should do.
Yea, I've quit the game midway through the campaign. As soon as you reach the swamp, it's game over: - Nothing ever spawns on the map, except in designated points of interests. All you do is run through the marshes with no threat in sight. - You have 2 bases where you can sell your weapons, but you constantly need to run up to 2 km away to do quests or explore the map. I would always be overweight and that is with a mod that boosted my carry weight by 50%. - The chimera section is the most braindead segment in any video game I've seen to date - The swamp itself is a nightmare to navigate. There's patches of water everywhere that you need to go around. Many of them are hidden in the grass, so you only see them once you get really close, and then need to go around. If you do decide to traverse a patch of water, you will be slowed down by about 99.99%. Good luck with that. - Human enemies constantly spawn behind you, never in front, so you can't really scout the map for enemies. You will never see anything. - It once took me 40 minutes to traverse 1 km in the swap, because there was this massive system of pools and rivers between me and the objective that I couldn't traverse. And after 20 minutes of walking, an emission killed me. So, I needed to reload an earlier save and go to cover to wait for the emission to pass. - Btw, if an emission catches you in the swamps, you're dead. You have no cover anywhere, outside some small huts, which don't protect you anyway. - And if you think that the swamp area (Zaton) isn't that much of a problem, well, a lot of the campaign takes place there. I've spent 2 whole days in the swamp, not necessarily because there were a lot of campaign-related missions, although that was a factor too, but because the fcking swamp was a nightmare to navigate. - And just to point this out, you need to play with the mode that reduces the health pool of mutants. Otherwise, you will spend like 200+ bullets to kill one bloodsucker, and they sometimes come in packs of 2-3 or even 4 in some cases. And they have 400 HP. A chimera has 1.500 HP, which makes it literally unkillable. And I eventually got bored of running through the fcking water-filled environment with nothing to do, because no enemies spawn in 90% of the time, so I quit. The game is boring to tears and busted in more than a dozen ways. So, I quit. I may return a year down the line, when the community has created so many mods that they've actually transformed Stalker 2 into an actual game. Right now, it seems to me like it's in beta stage AT BEST.
I REALLY enjoyed this news article style report. I think this is awesome. It’s also refreshing to hear some positive things going on in the tactical shooter community, etc.
I cant believe we're praising the game because it can be fixed with mods. We need to go back to Star Wars Outlaws and give it more praise since if it had a few mods, we could fix that mess, right? So its actually not a 5/10, because mods can fix it! Admittedly Stalker 2 is MUCH better material to work with, but this is the same thing as Fallout 4 and Starfield. "Oh yeah, those games sucked, but mods make them better so theyre cool"
I didn't know they were wiping Gray Zone. Kinda sad about it. Also, kinda happy. I did really enjoy the game. Grinded it for a few weeks until it got way too hard to do quests solo. So I'm kinda excited to hop back into with the new updates after I play STALKER.
I was actually more interested in the game showing on screen when you were talking about Switch 2 Also dam, 12 pages of mods!? Guess people are really loving this game despite its issues, I may consider playing it now since I had no idea it was on gamepass, originally I was planning on waiting until a few patches came out to quell all the bugs and performance issues.
ooOoo I didn't know you were doing news type videos, I usually only click on ones that I think i'll like, but now I might click more. Be warned that this might hurt your retention if people click on a video thinking it's news, and you'll cover more things. I can only suggest labelling better? but +more is a start
cap your fps in nivida or amd settings. there are also some good fixes online (nexus mods). the only time my game crashed was at the shader loading screen. never again and i have an older build
Hit hour 30 with no crashes but I have had a lot of soft lock issues that has resulted in loading older saves. Shame it hasn't been running well for you
I truly wish the new, Western Focused STALKER 2 which will find many new fans, I wish everyone would get to experience the Russian Mods, which make up 70% of the STALKER Community, some of them are on ModDB, most are on AP-Pro. But most are also standalone lore mods where they combine all maps, enhance the engine, and have a unique complex story, that you can just download and play straight off the bat.
Played a lot of Russian mods, prob one of my fav is oblivion lost remake, finished 2.5 and tried 3.0 but its buggy as hell especially with spawning, until now i play old stalker anyways because a life is none on s2 if they will fix it or implement it, i will not touch s2 since its core mechanic what made stalker very different from other shooter games.

- You have 2 bases where you can sell your weapons, but you constantly need to run up to 2 km away to do quests or explore the map. I would always be overweight and that is with a mod that boosted my carry weight by 50%.
- The chimera section is the most braindead segment in any video game I've seen to date
- The swamp itself is a nightmare to navigate.
Right now, it seems to me like it's in beta stage AT BEST.
can't wait for syak to come out of retirement to make NLC 8 for stalker 2
A weekly show is actually a really great idea. Looking forward to what you decide to cover !
I REALLY enjoyed this news article style report. I think this is awesome. It’s also refreshing to hear some positive things going on in the tactical shooter community, etc.
Is that the secret third person game that guerrilla games had postings for years ago and the Socom mill got a hold of the news 😂😂😂
Was ‘Nuclear Option’ ever covered on this channel? Because that is a phenomenal early access game that deserves way more hype.
No weight for Ammos, food and meds? Shame on everyone who download that mod
We need CRCR (IRC Chat relay tied to PDA), and Radio/MP3 Player so we don't need to use Spotify Stalker Radio.
Void crew could be the pulsar we never got
Bought Stalker 2 a couple of days ago. Absolutely loving it.
The flashlight projection shadows is inexistent ...would be nice for more inmersion to implement that
I cant believe we're praising the game because it can be fixed with mods.
Fallout 4 is good stfu
I didn't know they were wiping Gray Zone. Kinda sad about it. Also, kinda happy. I did really enjoy the game. Grinded it for a few weeks until it got way too hard to do quests solo. So I'm kinda excited to hop back into with the new updates after I play STALKER.
i love this new format ! really glad to see you post things u actually want to do
I am waiting for GROK mod pack
The new arena breakout update has had me captivated lol, new loot new map new guns and weather effects are pretty sick.
Modder should port this game back to Unreal Engine so it can be played well at 1080p 60 FPS without using Vaseline and fake frame generator.
Why would you want a Lego version of a game that already exists and was pretty well received? Who was that game for? I don’t understand.
I was actually more interested in the game showing on screen when you were talking about Switch 2
Also dam, 12 pages of mods!? Guess people are really loving this game despite its issues, I may consider playing it now since I had no idea it was on gamepass, originally I was planning on waiting until a few patches came out to quell all the bugs and performance issues.
I love this format big fry! Please keep this content up, will always get my view! Only place I get my gaming news and I’m on console!
ooOoo I didn't know you were doing news type videos, I usually only click on ones that I think i'll like, but now I might click more. Be warned that this might hurt your retention if people click on a video thinking it's news, and you'll cover more things. I can only suggest labelling better? but +more is a start
Fry entering the news game is mint, would love video time cards/block in the timeline and in-game title graphics for each item!
So dead side is a rust like game?
Like the basics are similar? Only for PC? Well guess we,ll wait for that Tenscent made rust mobile that's in CN rn
I was so excited for this game, and just beat it yesterday with a total of 77 crashes. That alone killed the experience for me, what a shame.
thats a shame, only had 1 crash in like 30 hours of playing, hope the following fixes can let you play the game normally
I've had about five in 11 hours. 3 of them all consecutive, out of memory ones.
cap your fps in nivida or amd settings. there are also some good fixes online (nexus mods). the only time my game crashed was at the shader loading screen. never again and i have an older build
31 hours clocked up so far with no crashes, only bug I've come across is an NPC blowing smoke while talking in a cutscene with no cigarette in hand 😂
Hit hour 30 with no crashes but I have had a lot of soft lock issues that has resulted in loading older saves. Shame it hasn't been running well for you
Don’t pass the clear sky mission after that the game breaks
Since Anomaly had such a massive mod scene (i think it still does) this was just a matter of time
Can't wait to play this game i just need to compile some shaders shouldn't take long i think
Idk if you've ever played gamma but man that mod pack was the best and still is stalker 2 has nothing near that much yet I can't wait for gamma 2
Literally bought the game, played it for an hour to realize that yeah, my pc can't really run it. Ordered a new pc, should be here in 2 days. What a game, when you have to buy a brand new pc to play it, lets gooooooo
Who are you trying to brag to?
@@manwithballsonarm6775 It's the sad reality of AAA games nowadays yet to come. It's not bragging, if i'd brag i'd brag about the cars I own, house and income. Not some pc
New format feels good, keep it up man
I have already installed 10+ mods, from optimization to game mechanics. Jesus Christ the base game is so unpolished
You should call this series "This week in gaming"
Can’t wait to play this game when I get my computer up and running in January
Wth was that game at the end? The top down game
thanks! made me reinstall deadside hearing about the update had no idea.
I really like this format !!!! Please keep it in the pipeline!!!
Gamepass been going crazy with Stalker 2 and BO6 being on there. I'm definitely getting my moneys worth
Cod is garbage and stalker is a buggy mess.
@ skill issue
@@hellasketch6523🤓
Im just happy that when this releases on ps5, most of the issues should be ironed out already. 😊
@BigFry you can sell red gear to Ragman in Rostok.
Yeah but he also gives the worst payout and doesn't accept all broken items. I think he only takes broken guns and not gear.
I love this weekly news concept
I just want them to fix the crashing, I mean damn i can't play for more than 30 minutes before it crashes
Man I'm still in Clear Sky, these mods are gonna be great at fixing up the game for my shitty little 1060
I thought the trader in Rostock buys red broken weapons?? I have not tried but thought I heard that?
Somebody needs to put a Mosin into the game Right. NOW!
Weekly update vidoes are a good idea, I like this format
I am DayZ players and Metro game fan. I played only on Ps5 and got by a great friend à xbox s as a gift. Having the chance to discover this game it a bol of fresh air n good to see a communauty helping this game 🙏🏽 can wait to see the future whit the mod n next dlc coming
9:47 “Nintendos been pissing me off lately” brother everyone pisses you off…
The lighting in this game is so bad, Its so hard to see enemies at night, They need to add NVG or a better flashlight
i really wanna get into stalker but the fact that i cant play with friends ruins it for me.Any idea if coop or multiplayer is happening?
Multiplayer coming next year most likely but no co-op unless someone makes a mod for it
i dig the weekly gaming news format good stuff
Im down for this new format Fry! Like to be up to date about gaming so Ill be here for the news if you decide to go foward. 👌
This news format is great!
Bro talking about everything but stalker 😂
I guess the PSN + Lego combo didn't work well with Horizon on PC.
Isn't Lego Horizon only a 4-6 hour long game? I don't think concurrent numbers would be up even after a week lmao. Especially when it was most likely more bought on console too cause kids and all.
liking this news style, deffo want more. great to have places for it and there arent many as i just cant enjoy gameranx
Cries in Xbox game pass stalker 2 player it’s rough I’ve had some crazy bugs tgat had zero reason to have made it past game testing that made me tweak out and I get no mods for better performance graphics or nothing :/
