I liked this Werner 😊 Whenever I see these lone old buildings in the middle of nowhere, I always try to imagine the people who go there- where could they possibly stay? What are their daily lives like? - Are just some of the curious questions your videos evoke😊 I also liked how the stained glass looked with the bit of light shining through them. There is something so soothing to me, about the Cape in general, and all your videos (BRC and these too) give us all a little glimpse of your corner of the world, and it's often some welcome visual escapism, so thank you. Warm regards to you and Annelie 🤗
Hi Kate, your comments also perfectly describe my feelings of such places, the isolation and remoteness is contrasted with the obvious settlement of people for a very long time here already. This Baviaanskloof area captures this contrast very well in my opinion, and was relatively easy to capture on camera, because no matter what direction one looked, it was beautiful 🙂 All the best to you and mom as well...
