Thank you for another amazing inspiration! I have created a 20 gallon and 5 gallon aquarium tanks (20g for neon tetras/chili rasboras/pygmy corys with shrimps/snails and 5g for my veiltail betta & horned nerite) using the expanding foam to create a paludarium backdrop and my fish/plants have never been healthier or more colorful and the background looks amazing.

In my country, Brazil, there are many species of crabs, both freshwater and saltwater. I remember having already seen a small reptile with a purple color in my garden. By the way, an ecosystem with a small reptile would be amazing.🦎

Hello! I am from the north of Argentina, here we have a range of very common crab species, the Aegla sp. (Aegla jujuyana, Aegla humauaca, Aegla intercalata, etc.) And in the center and south of the country we have more genera and different species! Especially in the Parana river. Greetings!!!

Thank you for the compliment! The white bottled liquid that I use under the moss is a specialized glue that is designed to adhere to plants. It helps to keep the moss in place and prevent it from shifting or falling off over time.
In Singapore we only have 2 type of crabs, Chilli Crab & Black Pepper Crab. 😂😂😂
But on a different note, I use to have Vampire Crabs that has a purple coats. Enjoying your vids, hello from Singapore.

Absolutely amazing build! I'm in the process of doing one myself, and I noticed that you put the coconut fiber on top of the uncured foam instead of waiting for the foam to harden, apply silicone, and then put the fiber on the silicone. I was wondering if you had any problems or if there were any disadvantages to doing it the way you did. Thanks!
The disadvantage may be that the coconut fiber may still easily fall off.

However, We may not have access to blue feigning death beetles, as they are native to North America. Nonetheless, there are many other interesting insects and animals that could be kept in a desert vivarium.

Can you show how is the water inflow ? It is covered by the foam already how does the water inflow to the pump?
Will putting the dirt on top of the foam make it sealed? Other people seal it with drylock or silicone and then a layer of dirt but if putting dirt directly on the foam also works and makes the foam safe for animal use then I would like to know

Apaga el filtro y saca la esponja.
Límpiala suavemente con las manos o un cepillo suave y enjuágala con agua del acuario.
Si es necesario, reemplaza la esponja desgastada.
Recuerda limpiar periódicamente, evitando limpiar todas las esponjas a la vez para mantener la estabilidad del agua.

If your crab is destroying the foam in its tank, it may be a sign that the crab is not getting enough stimulation or is not happy with its current environment.
You can provide plenty of hiding places and decorations such as rocks, driftwood, and plants. This will give your crab a sense of security and allow it to explore its surroundings.

will the crab crawl out of the tank? how many Purple crabs can I keep in a 10 gallon?
Purple crabs are interesting! However, they tend to try to crawl out of the tank, so please make sure you have a secure lid to prevent escape. Generally, one purple crab needs at least 2 gallons of space, so keeping 2-3 crabs in a 10-gallon tank should be safe. Thank you for your question!
