E se gan Ibukun, I had a small question that’s unrelated to this video
So going back to the emotions video, I was think of ways to say certain things to people
So I was wondering if you wanted to say “don’t be sad,” would you say “Ma l’inu baje” or “Ma ibanuje?” Could you say either or would there be a different way?
Hey! You would actually phrase it as don’t let your heart be sad. So ‘Ma je ki inu e baje’ or ‘Ma ba nu je’
What I found about the letter Li/L for Yorùbá is that it is a different way of saying present tense no focus sentences. It is a euphonic form of the verb ni=to have and the preposition ni=at;in;from used for words that begin with vowels a,e,ẹ,o,ọ,u . “Mo li owo”, I have money, “Mo ni owo”, I have money. ile rẹ̀ li ọ̀rẹ́ mi tí de. L is mainly used to claim ownership or describe something that’s why most of the Yorùbá words that start with L are adjectives. Must have been something that changed overtime
mi o lo si gym sibe sibe mo ma lo lola. is there a specific word for gym tho?
Either gymu or a much longer way is to actually describe what the gym is
Please please make your videos
Mi ọ máa n lọsí gym sibe sibe ma lo l'ọla. Is it right?
what is the surprise?
i miss you soo much !! :)
I’ll be back with proper videos soon!!!
