The typical timeline for Disney adults: 1) Take you children when they're young. 2) Go several times for nostalgia without your children. 3) Transition to Universal Studios. Why do people transition to Universal Studios? For many reasons, the most popular being: 1) Better dining INSIDE the parks with full bar service. 2) Convenient, non-intrusive smoking/vaping areas INSIDE the parks. 3) Open carry of cocktails INSIDE the parks. 4) No need for portable electronic devises or phones INSIDE the parks. 5) No need for a car INSIDE the resort. 6) Fewer children, with segregated children's areas. 7) No princesses. 8) Harry Potter. The bottom line: Don't feel guilty "betraying" Mickey by visiting Universal. You won't regret it.

I would have emphasized all of the things you can do at Disney Springs, rather than the Boardwalk. Sure, the Boardwalk ain't bad, but it's TINY compared to the abundance of adult entertainment found at Disney Springs!!
