    Thanks for uploading this video. I also have the first production Bailout in FRN scales but didn't carry it much due to the scales. I ordered blue Putman aluminum scales, had it installed and love it. Took the Bailout to a whole new level and will be carrying it more. Look forward to more of your knife modification videos!

    Pretty sweet upgrade, even if you're not totally into the looks, flex, which I do, it's still fun and theripudic to take things apart, put them back together, and rock the look for a while.
    Also, if you need more weather/environment resistance for camping, etc.
    I bought a few of those bottles of aegis and spray it on everything, although if you're touching it, it's going to keep getting dirty, so you'll still have to clean often.
    Phone, sunglasses, metal stuffs, is what I use it on.
    Thanks for the upload.

    I came across this tonight with the bailout man your my hero brother I just may do a few projects myself with the bailout I was focusing on other knife mods ano and carving gimping ect...diy dremel work to existing copies of several knives I have of I don’t care about doesn’t cost me anything so I’m practicing I have been getting used to having a steady hand and thinking of mods to do to g10 and blade yes I’m ready to do. Awesome vid and TI bailout scales brother this is why you my #1 channel your always up to something dope. I’ve done a couple decent mods to a few copies. Metal Complex used to be my favorite but no disrespect on him he has changed in my eyes he used to be so humble then everyone was sending a million knives and his ego and head inflated I still watch but he fell off my top 10 he has entertaining vids but he just talks a lot shit and became a snob in my opinion I know he us your friend I speaking from along time sub and viewer. You guys always keep it real and humble and don’t take yourselves so serious and become an ad whores but I get it if it is making some money but looks like he expects people to given to him knives now. Has em all sold on sending him whatever he mentions I can see the car salesman in his voice. Sorry for stupid vent on your vid. I really like you . JT EDCC. Its fresh 537 and much better then now days it’s all the same thing.

    You could just cut off the pommel instead and then sand it down flush. Just use the dremel tool you talked about.
    And cool vid!

    The struggle is real, those tolerances tho! But the results are legit. I think I would actually prefer the added weight. Still under 3 Oz. but I imagine it feels sturdy and substantial in hand. Thanks for sharing brother. 🤙👊🍻

    • @zachstuff
      @zachstuff  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh bummer! Yes the scales will work for the 2nd version. Just have to order a backspacer from Rock Scale Design.

    • @rag3knight66
      @rag3knight66 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh shit didn’t think I’d get a reply so fast you’re awesome man! For the back spacer I can’t just keep the stock pommel with the glass breaker? On a side note the bailout I lost I had broken the pommel after so much use I had forget that I could have sent it for warranty and I ended up fixing it myself what and idiot huh? But it did feel great fixing my own stuff.

    • @zachstuff
      @zachstuff  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re Welcome! Yeah just email Rock Scale to confirm the original pommel works. New items drop on his site tomorrow. Sometimes fixing it yourself is fun!!

    537. I kinda dig it although honestly the price jump for aftermarket scales on a knife is kinda huge for me. I don't hate the pommel concept although making it out of aluminum is odd. But overall the knife looks way cooler and the weight is still totally reasonable.
