- Acrylic Pour Painting Over Colander! One of the easiest techniques for fantastic results! Mix up your paints to a melted ice cream consistency with a little Floetral and pour away!!

I did pours in the 60's. Try adding iron filings to the paint and use strong magnets to shift the radiants or ball bearings which can also be moved with low frequency sound lke a subwoofer.Also if you're using cloth you change the surface with wedges.

It’s a cool idea. But do you need to use super super fine metal so it doesn’t look grainy when it dries

I really like this idea of the upside down stranger a lot more than the regular pours through a strainer. This is a lot more unique.

That was mesmerizing start to finish! I've never been so excited over watching someone paint! The end product looked 3 dimensional.. I actually held my phone sideways for a couple second to see if there were raised parts, then I realized what I was doing lol.. really really stunning.

I love that you've turned the colander pour on it's head -- literally! Wonderful result! I can't wait to try this. :) I'm just sad that when you spun it (which of course is the best way to spread the paint out evenly) you lost those lovely drip designs at the edges. But still -- I love your piece and your creativity.

Nicely done bud! You should sell your runoffs as skins for jewelry makers! I'm sure that there's plenty of people who would love to use your paint skins for pendants and whatever else they make lol

If selling the skins don't appeal to you for whatever reason if I may, can I suggest you (or any other artists seeing this) consider donating them to a community centre or facility for retired/disabled/unemployed persons or an after school/kids club perhaps? I noted some time ago that an artist donated theirs & they were greatly appreciated and awaited on with excitement!
