I got quoted $2,500 for a part itself from MB dealership, went to European cars mechanic got quoted ($600 for a part (used), $200 to install it + $130 to clean fault memory). Absolute stitch up! Well i have followed your instructions decided to give it shot. It cost me $120 of ebay incl. delivery to Aus. (make sure the product code is spot on correct with your original one when you order i have C200 Kompressor 2001, so mine was slightly different). Plugged in new sensor in, no malfunction, no need to clean faults, happy days! Car runs smooth. However for people who currently experiencing ESP problem it could not be necessary YAW rate sensor, i went to mechanic to get it scanned and find out what is exactly wrong costed me $45.00) PS shout out from Australia!!!
@@dontracy8924 yes it does. Sold that car and it fixed it. Got another one last year which ended up with the same issue. The one it had installed looked in good shape but gave error. Went to my favorite salvage yard and got one, installed it and error cleared. This was back in November.

That is a warning that says "please remove key from ignition" (you can see the tip of the key image) and happens everytime you shut it down and don't remove the key within 1 second. Cheers yo. Keep up with your investigations 💪
If you don't know what he unplugged and then plugged back in you shouldn't be carrying out repairs on your car. It was obvious what was unplugged and plugged.

There is only one part in the trunk and it is called YAW rate sensor held down by 2 screws.
Does that fix the issue?

Thanx for the great video. I will give it a try as my ESP light stays on, changed the brake switch, but still on...its a Mercedes W211, 2.2cdi. 2004.

necesita comprar un sensor de velocidad de ebay (YAW Rate Seonsor) con los mismos numerous de su Viejo parte. espero que esto ayude
pones el swich sin prenderlo, aprietas tres veces reset botton y luego lo prendes

Lots of people tried to change that sensor but as soon as they drove the car it came back on. It may have to be reset by a professional.

The car drove well after that and the ESP light went off immediately. That should not stop the car from functioning.. electronic stability programmer.
