The LCN DNA Tests were not carried out by any impartial, independent body as they most certainly should have been. Instead, they were undertaken by the FSS [Forensic Science Service] a government owned company based in Birmingham. They had an agenda and that was to maintain the ridiculous premise that James Hanratty was the A6 murderer which flies perversely in the face of all the voluminous evidence pointing very strongly to Hanratty's complete innocence. This is why the case will not die.
@robertfoy100 Please explain just for starters why Alphon, the Prime Suspect, is a dead ringer for Storie's identikit and why he laid low [acting very suspiciously] in the Alexandra Court Hotel for 5 days immediately after the crime. Not to mention that just like the gunman he spoke softly, had slept rough the previous 2 nights and pronounced 'th' as an 'f'. And just like the gunman didn't have a clue about cars. Unlike Hanratty who knew all about cars. Alphon knew the Slough area very well too.

14 people said they saw or spoke to Hanratty in Rhyl on the day of the murder which was his alibi.
Hanratty did it. Peter Alphon was a crank, which was patently clear in that 1967 interview.
Hanratty was a petty thief. He was not the murderer.
I'm sorry, so sorry for Hanratty's father who struck to his son not being guilty, I'm sorry mate, your son did it..the evidence is clear..
Derek Bentley was a set of totally different circumstances.
