This is critical. From the factory these things drop way too much water, it makes weak, watered down espresso. Left button re-programmed for the ristretto capsules, right for regular.
IME better to keep the original setting of 40ml espresso and 110ml Lungo then work around that with hot water if needed. Adjusting will make the shots either too watery or not enough capsule usage.

You can also press the Espresso button, and press again to stop the flow. This will not program the size, but just change the quantity for this coffee. If you are a Ristretto lover, we also have machines that propose the three cup size, Ristretto, Espresso and Lungo.
So the Essenza Mini is advertised as capable of making Ristretto, but it really isn’t. You could use this method to reset the Espresso button to make Ristretto and the Lungo button to make Espresso, but you don’t get access to all three sizes after all. That’s deceptive. I also have to say the espresso it does make is not very hot. I’m happy but not thrilled. Maybe I got the wrong machine? Maybe Nespresso is just not the real deal.

Hello! I got an Esenza mini krup and its not working. it blinks for more than 30 sec, it has never stayed still nor dispensed a cup of coffee .What can I do to Solve this problem?

I like the discreet size of my Essenza mini, but I find it quite loud, and also the crema is somewhat thin.
Can I reprogram Espresso to be 60ml? Or should I use Lungo instead to be 60ml?

Can I use a view coffee mug (the taller ones) with Essenza Mini to make a latte ? Will it fit under the spout ?
