The last episode of the Tupac doc got me.
I am grateful that the right people were involved in making this documentary and the people on camera were the right people. We tell our own frigging story.

Finally a update on the Thriller 40th Anniversary. Releasing at the end of the year, they at least should make a trailer and release date. The fact that it might release on tbe 41st anniversary of the album???

Hello! I had ❤ for him when I heard Brenda Got Baby..He was a brilliant young man. He spoke truth, When he said We have money for war, But can't feed the poor🔥 He had a problem with that. 2 Pac is still the #1 Intelligent Rapper to me.❤ Thanks for sharing.

A genius on so many levels, it’s unfortunate that he passed due to a beef that wasn’t his… he took the beef up and unfortunately lost his life. No government… even the people who commited or was there have said…it was retribution for the scuffle after the Tyson fight. However God bless him and his mom. This shows the capabilities and where we can get to but also that our men and women have to be encircled around positive influences at all ages.

I'm gonna continue to watch the documentary but I've also been listening to brother Dhruba bin wahad and his analysis of the panther 21 since he was a part of the case.

Karen if the New York times who supposed to be professional journalist who was so bold and bias not to do his research or if he did didn't care. I think bloggers especially in black culture feel as if they know or knew much more about him and the advent of the internet helped them give their opinions. Knowledge and wisdom and discernment has taught me how to weed out who's doing their homework and who isn't

May God have mercy on Tupac, forgive his sins and grant him Paradise! Tupac spoke Scripture's in the language of the people ( in the individuals on language)

Is there a way to get the New York Times to edit that headline and to apologize to him and his family?

This is a man who said horrible things about Michael Jackson in the past and now he wants to profit from his art. That is even more disgusting than the consistent haters. Nelson George never even tried to stand up against the gross injustice Jackson had to suffer. Instead he mocked him for his looks, his skin color and sides with his corrupt lying accusers.

"she trained him to be analytical...?" or she *raised* him?
I don't intend simply to pick apart George's words, rather I want to encourage the understanding of Tupac as the **rule** for what becomes of young Black men (and all children) when they are raised with love, care, intention, accountability, and knowledge of self.
The "transformation" George describes is what happens when one is granted wealth and access to exclusive spaces. Similar story with Kanye. To call Pac a "dangerous dude" satisfies a white gaze, using a contemporary read which could easily be retrofitted for the same NYT obituary headline that he was so ready to (rhetorically) condemn.
