Find it hard to understand those who slag this off. Rafferty's song was great - no one loved it more than I, but anyone with an ear, (soul), for the Blues has to love this on it's own merits. I often think that Blues women like Bonnie really don't get given the respect they're due because they don't fit with the Blues 'crusty old black-man pickin' on his geetar' image... Love her to bits....

Bonnie Raitt _NEVER_ does what I call a karaoke cover, where it’s pretty much identical to the original (or most popular cover, and I’m thinking of Henry Nilsson’s cover of “Without You,” by Badfinger). Nope! Thank goodness, Raitt is way too good to do that, a consummate musician and performer.
