thanks Junell for the great feedback. We posted another citrus video yesterday but the file was unable to upload,, so we have to do the video over again Ugg!! Keep watching Junell..
Haha…thanks for mentioning my question. So the fan keeps going even in the winter. Seems like these pests are going on even your humidity is high. Spider mites hates humidity. Now I have to worry the fungus. I spray my citrus every 3 days to make sure no fungus and no pests. Neem oil is great for this. Thank you.
Great!! Thanks because you ask interesting questions, we discuss it and determine that it is a good overall question that many people also ask. Look in getting a Bearrss lemon as well they are really good :) Keep Growing Angela.. PS what is the temp there this month?
The leaves on my three year old Meyers lemon have turned yellow. I have treated it with everything that was recommended. I even transplanted it. No change. It is producing fruit. It is the only one out of six trees that looks bad. Any thoughts?
sorry richard, not enough information to make a diagnosis. Start with pH of the soil, check for spider mites, never transplant a stressed plant as it will exasperate its problems due to transplant shock and what ever else is bothering it. Worm castings on the outer edge of the pot is always great ( Black Gold ) Be careful not to over water it. Also check the lighting... and did you move it from its previous location?? That really stresses a citrus and it will drop leaves. Let me know
I have a Kaffir lime tree that I take care of for my Indonesian wife and right now it's in the basement under grow lights until the weather gets warmer. It's starting to sprout new growth all over the tips. However, so many of the older leaves are falling off at the same time. 🤦🏻♂️ I just gave it some citrus fertilizer because the leaves that are falling off look a little off color. 🤷🏻♂️ I think it will be ok when it's back outside in the spring/summer......🤔
hi Robert,, you really dont want to fertilize until spring. The older leaves dropping's is normal due to the shock of being brought inside, Also make sure you are suing a full spectrum 6500 kelvin lighting. dont overwater ( 1x a week ) Once you get it back outside, make sure to acclimate it back to natural sunlight or you will shock it, Plants do no like to be moved around once they adjust to their location. since it is getting new leaves shooting out, thats a good sign its ok. Just be patient for Spring, 67 more days ! :) Good Luck
@@marcelinanoss8825 it's been inside for a while so I'm surprised it took this long for the shock to set in and leaves to drop. Maybe it's just the trees way of renewing itself. Getting rid of older, mature leaves and producing the new growth. I have a hydro farm 400 Watt metal halide with a transformer. I'm hoping to move up to an LED system someday. My wife's orchids are about to grow new flowers and they were root bound. I just repotted them into bigger containers with an off the shelf orchid mix and used rain water to give them a good drink for the first time in the mix that seemed a bit too dry. Also, I have a mandarin orange tree that's at least 10 or 12 years old now. I've been training it somewhat like a Bonsai to keep it under control. It's starting to produce new growth again, as usual every year. However, it has never flowered yet. 🤦🏻♂️ I've tried bloom booster a few times. I've tried Bone meal. The citrus fertilizer I recently started using is lower in nitrogen than P or K.
Still the best (and undiscovered) channel regarding overall care of citrus trees! Keep up the great work! I always defer to your advise!

Now I understand why i cannot buy the citrus fruit trees because of California law, no shipping to California.
Sucks yes?
