I've had my 3 wheel Isetta for 35 years. Love it. They all have reverse gear. So 16 year olds in UK could drive them reverse had a clip to prevent selecting reverse to comply with the law. As soon as the 16 year old got it home, off came the clip.

One could overcome also larger gradients with it problem-free! The top speed was after all about 90km/h (about 55mph), which was at least the maximum speed allowed in the USA in the past! All in all: It was a really great little car, which was also very economical!

Alright, I'm gonna say it. Most concept cars are just fucking stupid! High profile auto manufacturers have way too much money burning a hole in their pocket and love pouring millions into unrealistic ideas that will never reach production. It's more of a pursuit to wow consumers with seemingly futuristic design, but so impractical. Imagine the production and maintenance costs on some of these. Cheaper getting a heart transplant.

If it wasn't for the "Mini" these things would have taken over every town & city in the UK at one point.
