This video is a studio follow-up to Sissel performing Slow Down at a live concert with the Tabernacle in July 2019. She had turned 50 and had 30 plus years of professional singing behind her.
And it shows in the quality of her delivery. She is the only soloist to be invited 4 times to the Tabernacle and she made history that night when almost 20, 000 people stood up to applaud her performance. Apparently a standing ovation mid-concert hadn't happened there before.

You're right about Sissel & fame. She turned down a huge money offer to bring her career to the States, just after she did the Titanic soundtrack in L.A.. She didn't even have to think about it. She caught her plane home, much to the annoyance of her agent. She has fairly well kept control of her own career so she's not as famous as could be. But she doesn't care.

Thank you for a inspirational and heartfelt reaction video of the Norwegian national treasure. This video is from the place where Sissel now lives, on a farm close to the nature.
