    *50 NEW SOUNDS - $30* (Email me at Synthestalker@gmail.com or simply send $30USD to my PayPal account and tell me you want the Minilogue patches. Don't forget to leave a return address or I won't be able to send them to you lol)
    Nearly every sound here makes use of the motion sequencer, so make sure you have that PLAY button lit for maximum effect! Everything from VCO tremelo and single-VCO modulation, to PWM on one oscillator while the OTHER is being FM modulated at twice the speed! These are things I never thought the Minilogue could do, but with recent firmware updates making it a bit easier to input motion control, I've really done my best at expanding the range of modulation here. The ZOOM pedal to the left of the Minilogue was only used as a pass-thru and none of the effects are active.

      Planning on picking these up but just got the Zoom CDR pedal you recommended and it makes no sense to me lol. The instruction book and none of the videos I found helped much either. If you have anything you could point me at to use this damn thing that would rock!

      I figured it out. Don’t worry. lol but if you got some cool patches or favorite sub pedals that would be sweet.

      @@UbiDoobyBanooby Yes, I was overwhelmed by it at first too. Here's the jist of it. The center button is your standard "on/off" affair for enabling and disabling effects. The black ring around it is 4 buttons. The left/right are how you navigate through the various "pedals" you have in the chain. To switch a pedal in the chain, or add another, you use the up/down buttons. There's a fuck load of them! Once you insert the effect into the chain, you can activate it with the center button. If you want to edit the effect pedal, you use the little black knobs. Press the knob on the far right and you'll be able to get a better view the virtual knobs up close as well as shift through the pages of other parameters in that particular effect.
      I have mine set up as follows from left to right, HD Reverb, Stereo Delay, Stereo Chorus, Compressor, Noise gate. That's how it looks from left to right, but the signal flow is actually the other way around. I use the noise gate for synths that have hissy outputs, or if I have a lot of virtual pedals enabled at once and am generating a lot of background hum. I recommend disabling all effects except one, and cycling through them all one at a time so you can really see what kind of tool you just got. You'll get used to navigating it quickly enough.

    It seems that no matter which synth you are using, your patches are absolutely the best on youtube. I bet if you made videos talking through the creation of a patch they'd be immensely popular.

    thanks for inspiring me to buy the korg minilogue in 2017..its probably what hooked me into getting other analogue equipment like vacuum tube guitar pedals..
    your programming skills inspired me as well..the song on my channel features sounds mostly made by the korg minilogue including drums..only other sounds were from my guitar and nature sounds..its just a simple hip hop type instrumental..i'm gradually trying to learn composition like you too lol
    thanks again for the inspiration

    Huh! TIL my Minilogue is out of date! In 2.01 (2019.06.28) we get microtuning from xd and key trig from monologue now etc. Nice!
    Cool new patches! Lots here I'm really surprised you're getting out of a Minilogue somehow. Might be time to finally buy them - I'm mostly afraid if I have yours I'll stop bothering to make my own patches :D
    Just rebuilt my studio so my Minilogue has a semi-permanent spot now!

    • @AdamBorseti
      @AdamBorseti  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Using independent modulation of both VCO's pitch at different speeds. Try using the joystick to enter motion sequences for the fine adjustments. You can route it to any knob and adjust how much effect it has. So for things like delay speed, where minute alterations have a profound effect, try routing it to the joystick and limiting its range to like 10%. This way you can be less precise with the joystick and still get tame results instead of wild ones.

    • @UbiDoobyBanooby
      @UbiDoobyBanooby 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AdamBorseti how in the heck do you modulate VCOs independently in motion control?!?

    • @Wil_Dsense
      @Wil_Dsense 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@UbiDoobyBanoobyI’m guessing they are both set to differnt speeds initially, so adjusting them with the joystick will change them both relative to their respective positions. I have a minilogue btw and need to test this out when I can.

    I just love your demo’s, really good playing.. you could get white noise to sound good:) That’s not to say these patches are not special for the old ‘logue, some really, REALLY beautiful patches. The one @12:57 was worth it alone, was that original as if so that has to be made into a full track. Recognised quite a few bits.. maybe 19? ;)

    • @AdamBorseti
      @AdamBorseti  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Shaun 😀 Yeah, I did some really fun stuff with the motion sequencer for sure, and the patch at 12:57 is a pretty good example of what it can do!

Fantastic work Adam, I've owned the minilogue a few times and always part with it, but I'm done with that, going to get it back and keep it, it is one of the best sounding synths I've heard honestly

    • @AdamBorseti
      @AdamBorseti  ปีที่แล้ว

      Essentially I'm using the sequencer to add extra modulation using motion sequencing, so things like independent VCO vibrato are dependent on the sequencer.
