Cannot think of any other singer who has achieved so much success both in the film industry and the ghazal genre. Also, in the playback industry, Hariharan has a hugely impressive body of work spanning Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. Few singers can match the versatility, talent and charisma that Hariharan possesses. Huge respect.

4:02-4:50 It was raining melody from the harmonium. I could feel myself drenched in the 'Suron ki barish'. Excellent singing by Hariharan too, his grip on the lower notes reflects the hours of practice he gave in.

Oh God, what an unbelievable rendition! This is the first time I'm listening to this ghazal. His soothing voice and style of singing just does something in me. With every phrase, he draws closer and closer to my soul. God, the accompanying Harmonium player just took the song to a whole new level.
