Pitcher tried to silence Vineeta in the beginning itself. She gave him a clear warning but he ignored her. All the sharks saw this. The pitcher is highly self obsessed. During the pitch, the sharks kept telling him to skip certain points but the pitcher continued and tried to overpower the sharks. Such ignorant, overconfident, unprofessional, and cunning behaviour of the pitcher overshadowed his main product and the general interest of all the sharks as investors. Vineeta is a very cool shark, Aman is an entertaining shark, Anupam is a highly experienced shark, Peyush is a very kind shark, and Namita is a smart shark. The pitcher successfully irritated all the sharks. Instead of promoting himself and patting his back, the pitcher should have maintained focus on the main product. Aman said very well about co-founder and founding member. In the end i think what Aman meant was the pitcher is still running a pre-revenue business ( in already cluttered market with a lot of competition from various known and unknown local brands ; any brand can overtake his business ) but he is so much self-obsessed that he believes that he is already Nike, meaning that the pitcher is disillusioned. Aman was very active in this episode. He caught the pitcher many times. Peyush understood the cunning idea of the pitcher. Anupam tried to understand the pitcher and proved that the pitcher is a very risky person.

Nope , just look at the beginning of this guy , he just think he wanted to make a mark monologue in tv where the sharks already understood the story and he refusing to answer them and putting them to backfoot and continuing the monologue is disrespecting, even if you don't say your monologue it's still work if you get to business quickly, so it was the pitcher who was acting like he we'll set the narrative and others follow
Seriously 2000+ ke kid shoe is literally difficult to sell.. At present logon ko bacchon ke liye cheap se cheap joote chahiye hote.. Atleast for middle class and once you do retail business you realise that even trying to sell a pair of shoes to kids at 600₹ is also a challenge
Bhai, upper mid aur upper class ki market bhi bohot badi hoti hain. Khas kar India jaise Desho mein. Tier 1 mein kaafi saare log 2000 se zyada rupay kharch kar denge apne bachon ke liye aisi cheezo mein. Inki dukan ki hi monthly sale dekh lo.
@@SpareMale bro upper middle class dont need the shoes that can expand upto 3 sizes they would rather buy 3 different shoes so his main usp doesn't connect to upper middle class. His target audience is middle class people who wont spend 2000 on a shoe and would rather buy 3 shoes for that price as said by vineeta
@@khushisatwani2297 I don't think he's targeting the middle class market. Even in my original comment, I've mentioned the upper middle and upper class markets. And as I said, his shop's sales figures alone are evidence that such products are bought by the Indian customers. ✌️😌
@@SpareMale bro you clearly don't understand indian market. Upper middle class in india doesn't repeat clothes to a wedding and you are saying they will ask their kids to wear the same shoe for 3 years? I mean he clearly entered the pitch saying indian consumers buy 3 sizes big shoe to accommodate for change in size upto 3 years but that's done by a middle class parent. Upper middle class parents buy 3 shoes a month so his usp is not matching with his target audience. Imagine a delhi public school kid with whose fees is in lakhs wearing his shoe which can expand upto 3 sizes for 3 years, will they wear it? Also piyush is his customer and in the pitch he said the shoe feels uncomfortable after 6 months I would rather take his word for it rather than a account named "sparemale" you seem like a bot with no name. Also sales numbers as decent but again managing those number and growth is more important. Let's see if he is able to sustain.
@@khushisatwani2297 See, right now-or at that time-his product might be targeting an audience that wants a pair of shoes for a longer duration. That market could include anyone, from the lower class to the upper class! And you don't realize that even upper-class people collect, store, and use the items they buy multiple times! They can buy a pair, or even multiple pairs, for "collection!" Have you heard of the brand "Crocs?" You probably haven't!💯☝️😌🔥❗Some people-of any class-like to collect different types of Crocs. You don't know that people like to buy and collect different types of shoes! This is a market where you do research in technology and development to create newer designs that appeal to different groups. When you're successful in creating a brand, people are going to get attracted to it like metal to a magnet. Retaining these customers is easy, provided you are creating good to great products. Take Bacca Bucci, for example. Before their pitch, I had no idea about that company. Even though they had decent to poor products (I'd say the company is mid-tier, just like boAt in my opinion. I haven't used their products, but the company gives off that feel), they had their own downsides. Though their sales figures were good, I guess. So, it's just a fact that you don't know what a consumer wants. Everyone has their own needs, and if this kid manages to crack that need, he'll win the market! And why are you limiting his product to just being expandable? His products can be used for collections, too! He can launch products whose USP isn't expansion; he can launch anything that the market wants, and it can become successful! And the topic wasn't that; the topic was Vineeta not letting him do his pitch! Remember that episode where she schooled Azhar for his advice to a pitcher? She instantaneously started schooling him for giving advice. I just want to ask Mrs. SUPREME Justice Vineeta, where was she when Ashneer, Anupam, Aman, Namita, Peyush, and she herself were giving such advice? Do you get it, Ms. Khushi Satwani? You even seem like a bot with that name.🔥💯☝️😌❗
If he adds those superheroes and lights in his shoes, it will be a massive value addition and a game changer. The price is justified cuz it's a long term use product.

Leaders are motivators. But they tried to demoralize him. He is very young and dynamic guy. They need to understand his age and deal accordingly. He innovated shoes. Atleast they would have appreciated his efforts 😢
If shark tank was only about appreciating efforts then the pitchers can go anywhere else. At the end of the day they have to be authentic and strong communication skills if they want sharks to invest in them.
I hope this contestant makes a big company out of his brand and then comes back to shark tank as one of the judges, i can see his products has potential.

Piyush still being as gentle as possible was good.
Main samjhata hu ki duniya bhar ki baate kyu ho rahi thi. Bande ne ek innovative product banaya hai, use apna background batana hi chahiye. Usually sharks hi inhe ye sawal poochte hai. Aur zyadatar log yaha aake pehle apne baare mein hi batate hain. Yaha pe usne jo-jo qualifications ya validations/certifications/achievements apni batayi, wo bohot zaroori thi. Har insaan ko proof karna padta hain apne aap ko, jo ki usne kar dikhaya hai already. To agar sharks uske innovations ya designs ko question kare to usse pehle unhe pata hona chahiye ki banda valid hain! Aur wo tumse zyada jaanta hai product ke baare mein! Aur rahi baat time ki, to ye log apna time commit kar rahe hain. Inhone koi condition nahi lagayi hai ki hum itna hi time dege kisi pitcher ko. Ye nahi hota yaha!
The pitcher was trying to make the sharks fool. So, they made him fool. Notice how avoid the exact answer and try to move the conversation to another topic.
Don't remember the episode, Aman had mentioned "Oversmart Hai tho problem kya hai"... And now he is telling the pitcher is being oversmart...this is hypocrisy. How can someone trust Boat company that isnrun by a Hypocrite?

Sharks were very rough towards him. Not easy to stand in front.
cuz he was being over smart and not listening to the questions properly.
Very rude they are
They are not being rude but vo kafi oversmart ban raha hain aur na hi questions ke jawab properly de raha hain.
They weren't, they knew the monologue of his and now he was taking it too long sort of disrespect when people in front of you want to know story quicker
Bhai bahut irritating thaa. Aapko sharks rude kyu laga kyuki aap bhi aisa hi irritating oversmart hai 😂😂😂
Piyush not setting the narrative in the start about his deal with Aretto showcases his authenticity
And us home kuch galat bhi nahi bola. Bus genuine review diya.
Vineeta is usually soft spoken... but in this pitch she was pissed off..

@user-de6lh7rb1k I agree that he offended all the sharks, but that doesn't mean you disrespect a person's reputation on national television..
17:27 is the most unique sentence ever used in SHARK TANK 😅
Aman and Authenticity, both starts with A and goes in different directions.
Out of nervousness or any other factor, his communications got impacted and this video demonstrates the best what could be the consequences. Product wasn't bad. I only learned the significance of proper communication.
Thanks
And maybe, he will take care of his communication the most to grab good deals in his next pitches. 🙂
I agree he was not listening and interested to throw his own versions but being an experienced investors its not a great sign to insult on national TV but would have been better to tell him off camera, its may light up adverse conditions in thier startups

That Western toilet he made for himself. Hag Diya pura 😢.

You even seem like a bot with that name.🔥💯☝️😌❗
moral of the story overconfidence leads to accident
First time seeing Anupam also getting angry 😅
If he adds those superheroes and lights in his shoes, it will be a massive value addition and a game changer. The price is justified cuz it's a long term use product.

Pathetic behaviour of inducing a thought in the minds of other sharks from the beginning by Vineetha that he is setting the narrative is actually the narrative being set against him. and Aman bringing his bad mood into the overall conversation wasn’t expected. Piyush still being as gentle as possible was good.
She was right. Yaar toilet design waali baat kyun sune ,? Jabki time hi sabse badi keemti chij hai sab ke liye
She was correct, duniya bhar ki baatein kyu la rahe ho, direct point par aao. Time is money.
Main samjhata hu ki duniya bhar ki baate kyu ho rahi thi. Bande ne ek innovative product banaya hai, use apna background batana hi chahiye. Usually sharks hi inhe ye sawal poochte hai. Aur zyadatar log yaha aake pehle apne baare mein hi batate hain. Yaha pe usne jo-jo qualifications ya validations/certifications/achievements apni batayi, wo bohot zaroori thi. Har insaan ko proof karna padta hain apne aap ko, jo ki usne kar dikhaya hai already. To agar sharks uske innovations ya designs ko question kare to usse pehle unhe pata hona chahiye ki banda valid hain! Aur wo tumse zyada jaanta hai product ke baare mein!
Aur rahi baat time ki, to ye log apna time commit kar rahe hain. Inhone koi condition nahi lagayi hai ki hum itna hi time dege kisi pitcher ko. Ye nahi hota yaha!
