Hi replication can be done from 2008 SQL server to 2019 SQL server right. But when I creating subscription in 2019 .it throws error like SQL server cannot retrieve information from publication. Please tell me solution for this.
Launch replication monitor. See if everything is alright or is there is any error found. As per your error message, I suspect it could be the issue of agent account. Change the agent account(it should have access on both server and instance) in below path. Open publication properties > agent security > security settings It is suggested to use admin account
during the snapshot replication time the subscriber db seems to empty. If we run any queries during the snapshot replication time we wont get any outputs at the subscriber end.
