As I am considering the snorkel and airbox mod on my RS for the German Twin Trophy, that head stock extraction tip in the last vid was very helpful. But to be honest, I expected a bit more torque in the middle compared to the stock engine. Anyway, fantastic series, thx Dave!
A great tip I would give anyone wanting to buy, before doing so, contact other dealers & motorhome buyers, asking them what they would give you for the very same mh you're interested in buying. State a similar mileage, same year, condition, extras etc. Their offer will give you a good idea what the selling dealer has in it. Only, be prepared to be shocked !
Hi Chris, you can email me on theonemotorhome@hotmail.com I will send you the price list (very reasonable prices atm) Sorry I can't send it on here as it's a PDF
And as you will know if the customer then changes his van and refinances in under.a year you pay back the finance commission so paying the customer the finance commission is a massive gamble for any dealer.
It's a starting point. They will never agree with your first offer. But altleast they will know it'll have to be more than a £500 discount at this point. Believe me, I have worked for lots of dealerships and know how it works. This is for a 35k motorhome, however you may get that deal ( -6k ) on a new motorhome, especially if it's a new 2024 model that they have had sitting around for a while and they want to focus on their new 2025 models. In fact, I would recommend having a look at the discounts available on the unregistered 2024 models that are available atm. I have seen vans with 15k off of the rrp. (This was on a high-end, luxury mh, but still an amazing deal). I do understand what you are getting at though, and it may be laughed off as an unreasonable offer on a 35k van, but it's a starting point and a good one at that 🤑. Thank you for taking the time to comment though, as i know you have been following me for a while and I appreciate the feedback.
agreed for sure on the new stuff and its a great time for those without a px to get a great deal and most.dealers will be happy.to flip something and make some space! My 35k van will probably owe me £29k and be one of thr cheapest of.its ilk arpund so might.sturggle a little with a £6k discount lol
You rarely get claw backs on finance do you? I am just saying it is a good way to negotiate, I understand that as a dealer to hear this is tough. However, I am just trying to help ppl negotiate as many ppl struggle.
Let me know how much discount you have had in the past! It will be very interesting to see, for both the subscribers and I.
This is definitely a video that everyone should watch! Full of great advice and so much useful information! 👍👍👏
Thanks so much!

You’re welcome 😊
What commission do you want if a customer wants you to act on their behalf when buying a motorhome?
