Thanks Davie for another inspiration. I'll try this pattern with owl biot. All the best!
Hey Dave!!
I just tied six of these up in size 16 and 18 with olive dyed goose biots.
They came out extremely well and and i cannot wait to sink thees little buggers anywhere into the water column when the fish are actively feeding on these little tiny insects in their nymphal stage.
Thank you from the US for sharing and may God bless you each and every day.✝️
Nice tie will fish very well
Your nymph pattern is gorgeous davie tks for sharing 😊
Super looking Adams mate. Happy New Year to you and your family. Keep safe.
Thanks Davie for fine patterns ..
Looks deadly Davie. All the very best 👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴
Great tie Davie. I’ve started using turkey biots for most of my nymphs as I love the look that small strip of ‘hurl’ gives to the body. Tied a few using two for the thorax cover that I folded back for the legs. Gives a great split wing case look with the thin edges tied on top.
Top Pattern! Thank you for showing 😀
I’d be happy to fish that too! Cheers Davie. Lovely pattern.
Well Done again Davie!
Happy New Year, Davie! 😊
Nice pattern thx for sharing
Wish you a Happy New
fly tying year 2024
Great lookin bug. All the best in24
👌
great fly
Благодарю, Дэви!👍🤝🇰🇿
Здравствуйте! Я всегда поражаюсь - рыба в воде смотрит с низу в верх на мушку (в основном), а все фото мушек делаются с верху в низ😊
Good Morning from the USA Sir Davie! I love this fly! tied up a dozen already in a few different colors! I found an obscure caddis i was wondering if you could spin up? Its called The Nyblom Caddis. Thank you!
Sometimes the simple ones fish better than a colorful one…
Only fish that aren’t picky in my area are Bass and Walleye
Fantastic, I'll tie a few on jig hooks too. That takes care of the turkey, what other christmas dinner leftover flies can you tie? sprout streamer? mince pie muddler? sage and onion emerger? brandy butter bug?
I noticed Fulling Mill has a pretty nice selection of turkey biots, any chance of a review, color etc. ? Thanks from Oklahoma!
Hi @cgeatches,
I haven't got any of the Fulling Mill biots as I have a few packets which I bought many years ago though I would say that they are probably just as good as the ones I have and the colours are much the same as well...Next time I'm speaking to them I may get some to try..
All the very best Davie
Thanks, Curt G
Curt G check out Magpie Materials Turkey Biots. Their colours are spot on and the biots great to work with.
