So the clothes are related with some University process that started at Coimbra with the propose of the new students to fit in and be integrated in the student community. With the time it spread around the others university with little changes on the clothes (really love the clothes of University of Minho). In Porto you may also find students dressed like that especially now that they started their anual party with concerts and DJs ("Queima das fitas"). Don't forget to visit the Lello book shop. It's a magical place where J.K. Rowling felt inspired to write Harry Potter. Cheers and enjoy Portugal
Great video, especially walking around Coimbra I took a day trip there and visited the old garden you walked through and Coimbra university. The Biblioteca Joanina at the university is so beautiful inside. Did you get a chance to see it?
We have! In the video you can see that I’m recording the screen. But it was really dark outside. There were no lights and no moon so unfortunately we couldn’t see much.

No didn’t see that unfortunately. Most of the time we took the dogs with us so we couldn’t go inside buildings.
