  • Not my typical content but here is a basic video comparing the Suzuki van van’s stock exhaust to the aftermarket Full Black widow system.
    The exhaust in this video is the full black widow system for the RV125/200 Suzuki van van with the 300mm round stainless-steel end can.
    Link to the exhaust:

    The video and sound was recorded on a google pixel 3 xl. The quality is not amazing but hope it gives a general idea of how the exhaust sounds. I had found the position of the camera in the video to be the best camera positioning for exhaust testing.

    Just slapped this bad boy on my 2017 van van 200. Sounds way better in person!

      Indeed the video does not do it justice but gives a pretty good idea.

    I prefer the "stealth presence" of the factory exhaust. This is not a performance machine and I highly doubt changing exhaust components will have any noticeable impact (other than upset the neighbors). I constantly sneak up on people and wildlife with my Van Van it's so quiet.

      I totally agree with the comment of the VanVan not being a performance machine it’s not and the exhaust will not improve the bikes power. With that said the noise that the bikes makes on acceleration is more than worth it for most people it just makes the experience of riding a motorbike that much better. Off road riding is somewhat of an issue but if your respective of other around you and shit up a couple gears to keep the noise down you should be more than fine oh yeah also keep the baffle in. Thanks for the comment and I respect your view on the matter.

    My 125cc looks exactly the same? Is it just a bigger bour on the engine or?

    • @MadeCrafted
      @MadeCrafted  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope just a standard 125cc bore

    What do you mean it runs poorly ?

      The lack of back pressure in the exhaust had caused the engine to run rough, stutter and have a really poor throttle response. The engine would also stall after any free rev. Most of these issues are specific to the EFI version of the vanvan where the fuel maps are specifically tuned to a certain range of back pressure in the exhaust. Removing this back pressure causes the bike to run really lean and so all the issues show up. This is only when the bike is straight piped with the larger diameter pipes from black widow through have not had any issues with the muffler fitted if anything the engine debatably runs better than it did but only with the muffler on. I would assume a smaller diameter straight pipe would be fine too it’s just the 2" black widow pipe is too free flowing for this small engine.

      Some people report the fuel milage getting worse and a slightly higher performance however i have not noticed either. Performance seems the same as it was and fuel milage has not chnaged for the 80mpg average

    Even with a small motorcycle you can annoy others and damage the reputation of motorcyclists.
