Other top sellers of the day, such as the 1970 Plymouth HEMI ‘Cuda (Lot 734.1) brought in $517,000 and a 1941 Cadillac Series 62 custom convertible (Lot 753), which sold for $385,000, showed that original and restored American iron continues to command attention at auction.

I had a long conversation the day before the auction started with the buyer of the Superbird. He was the second bidder at the previous record hemi superbird in Scottsdale and said he wasn’t going to miss this one, which he clearly showed with his monster bid. So happy for him!

WOW BJ sure picked some great hosts.... April, Tyler, and Steve so glad to see them along with all the rest
Thanks for letting Tyler loose. Finally. What a pleasure listening to his unique way of describing these incredible works of art and engineering. Love this show. Everybody's dream.
Awesome as always, thank you for the super Show B-J
Barrett Jackson, thank you for filming the auctions. I have allways loved muscle and sports cars [motorcycles too] when i was 10 years old I got a ride in a 70 hemi 'cuda with plum crazy paint , white buckets and slapstic auto trans . when he matted it off a red light and that thing shook and screamed and i was pinned back in that seat... Ive been hooked ever since. owning at one time or another a 69 chevelle SS 396 a 74 buick apollo I customised myself with cragar ss mags wider in the back real homemade fender flairs that followed the body above the tire , came srtraight down and hooked in like a corvette paddle flair both sides of the back and back side of the front, a cold air hood like a camaro, removed the vynle top , bought a new hatchback lid and blocked and painted it black laquer twice after both cured then sanded , and glazed it like glass. All the gaps were sweet and it looked wet not a ripple in it. Nobody could envision it and I was made fun of but when it was done with the white buckets and back seat redone , then they knew! Also had a 76 KZ900 that was mildly kustomized and painted with silver and a black metalic outline wow swapped the 4 into 4 with 2 into ones off an ltd. Lower cafe type bars, It was sick, I weighed about 110 pounds ye-haw!! also a 70 cutlass 68 fairlane sedan ice blue with a white pqinted roof mustang gt mags with 70s all around out with the 289 in with the 351 windsor! what a car , the stance the ride , just great! recrome bumpers set it off. A 78 jeep cherokee with the aluminum slanted grill and big flairs 33: 12 1/2 15s on off road radials Painted like glass in an acrylic urethane desert sand white wagonwheels straight 6 3 speed manual on the floor, lock in hubs dana running gear sweet ride on the road or the woods / beach. An 05 black on black touring 350z witha 05 dyna superglide custom black with silver casings and rims matching set! wow now I have a 03 crown vic with that arizona gold paint and tan cloth intirior I love it and Im planning on trickin it out a bit to make it handle , break and go! just a little better, sleeper for sure. Well sorry I wrote a book but I got exited watching the show as usual and just started writing. THe anouncer said that your hiring, what kind of positions do you have open? I would be in heaven to work with [for] you guys because your the best! Thanks again for continuing in your grand tradition, Im going to come over to scottdale after the next crypto bull run [ coming any time now] and buy me a sweet ride a two seater convertible or maybe roadster of some sort, becaues all the cars that come thru are sweet as can be nomatter what the model. See you soon and thanks again to the whole crew for making it happen.
Such a great break down of the Three Days of High Powered Auctions, loved the entire show.... again
I'm not a car guy in any sense of the term, yet I love BJ auctions. the hosts and guests are interesting and well prepared. the production seems so seamless for a live auction. there's an excitement in the building that i can feel as a viewer. love these auctions!
Ill be honest, my favorite was the International snap on truck.
I just missed out on the Paul Stanley Corvette...but I was able to get a very nice Ibanez PS120 guitar ! It rocks all night & potty every day! 😁 😄
I like classics and customs as well!!!!
Great job!👍
The coolest car sold for the lowest price, that Japanese Ford T....incredible
I was shocked also that Rod - riguez did not go over $150K. .....people pay millions for art on a wall , that art is a rolling party !
57 corvette looking mint & elegant
The 1930's model A custom was so beautiful. I can't believe it went for 65,000. What a steal. That's truly a 1 of a kind.
Can wait yes
Well I can't believe it was said over and over again that the full size Mustang went away in 72 . For sure my wife's son has a 73 Mach 1....
Paul Stanley's Corvette fell flat like their 45 year old music.
I'm in love with the black haired sticker girl 🥰
That's a good looking Roadrunner
Hype 🚀
That Nomad was incredible. Thought it would get at least 115K. 80k is a steal for it.
🔥

48.33, .. fantastic new commentator.
.
When you decide to part with your Classic none better than Barrett-Jackson to get Top Dollar. You cannot built the 56 Green Nomad for any where near what this sold for. I know
Imagine how much that vanden plas princess limousine would be worth now that the queen has passed away 😳😳 whoever bought it got it at JUST the right time lol I bet it’s a small fortune now
It looked like they extended the length on the 99 Lamborghini. IT sucks we didn't get to really get a look at it or the bid because it cut to commercial :/
Reality show auctions have become very popular, and it's great to see the interest in these cars. But the perceived 'value' of the automobiles promoted by these events in which very certain people can desire or afford very particular cars has a trickle UP effect on what people thing their own cars are worth, and often those cars are not worth what they think.
I have no volume what's up with that
HOOVIE ROCKS FOR SURE.LOL
Interesting 🧐
Here for Hoovie!
Really, E- Coli ?
I want to bring my 2003 50th Anniversary Edition Vette
he meant one million five thousand
67 mustang is not elenor
Almost looks like Paul Shaffer...
I remember the mustang 2, legondary flop.. the worst ever...Tyler never buy the Cobra 2, for God sake..
No offense, but the president of Barrett-Jackson needs to shut up. Every time he stops the bidding just to beg people to bid, they stop bidding and the vehicle sells for much less than it should. He's like the boss who is always in the way, and needs to stay home while the staff stays and gets things done.
That Bentley was a bargain. The only problem is you have to drive around in it a look like a dbag.
Toyota shmoyota... no thanx
Paul stanley should have given that corvette to a charity bid.
The roadrunner sold at Friday's auction for 130,000. There was a couple of them that sold for the same price of 130,000. Damn what a steal they got when you see people willing to pay 1.5 for the same damn car. Same thing with the Hummer EV it sold for 200,000 on Fri.
