Hey I worked for company and retired few years ago.. Got Ipad but cant factory reset or use any option function. Is there any way of resetting ipad when you open from the back?

New adhesive strips do not have any strip sticking out to pull - won't it cause an issue during second replacement?

You can apply slight heat and use a pry tool to lift it.

looks like the tools are IFixit's Pro set. the set should run you about $70ish.
With the exception of the heat mat, brush, heat gun, and repair mat.
