I am in love with these types of videos and have been analyzing, "why?" There are so many reasons, but it's very comforting to me to see someone like myself going through many of the ordinary tasks of everyday life. We think these small things are not important, yet cooking, cleaning, daydreaming are important in the human experience. I have lived alone for many years as a single 40 year-old woman. As such, I often feel that much of what I do is pointless, invisible, and meaningless. It has felt lonely at times, yes, but I also enjoy being able to cook and eat what I want, wear pajamas all day, and have some comfort. There are so many reasons to be stressed and we can be swept up into all the bad news of the day. Thank you for giving these hardships breathing space so they can be acknowledged by continuing to take great care of yourself no matter what. XOXO
I always think this too. Why do I like watching someone else go through the motions of their day? Maybe because it’s nice to see such mundane tasks completed so mindfully.

She writes in there about all the meaningless, thankless, invisible things she'd do that nobody would ever see, and felt really sad about it. But this is a different take on it: it's leaning into it and realizing that your time IS valid, however YOU want to spend it, and who cares what anyone thinks? I think about all the unncessary drama I am spared in my humble existence, and to see someone else relish it so much -- our lives could be so much richer each day if we made more ceremonious a lot of the ordinary, beautiful things of our days we tend to overlook. Maybe that's what they mean about "daily gratitude." You can be sincerely and whole heartedly GRATEFUL for an amazing meal you cook and eat alone. Life is nothing without real joy. Plus, my late mother was Korean and a great cook, so in a strange way, watching her do this stuff makes me feel like I am hanging out with my mother. I've really missed her after she died. She is totally right, just like she said she was: I wouldn't realize how important she was until when she was no longer around, and when you are young, you roll your eyes. Now, I wish more than ANYTHING I could be in the kitchen with my mom while she's hunched over her kimchee tub. The one thing she was ALWAYS after me about was to eat more. "Chom MUGADA!!!" That means, "Eat something, for Pete's sake," basically. When I watch these videos, I laugh and wonder if she sent me to them, to tell me from the other realm to eat something. LOL
I love how much you value each item you own. You don't purchase without thought and you don't throw things away without thought and consideration to repair. It's really nice to see.
I just love the calming vibe of her videos. She seems like such a kind gentle person and she does everything so delicately. Thank you for sharing us bits of your life. It inspires me to keep making videos for my vlogs too!

Love your videos! A little tip for pasta: don't add oil to the water that the pasta cooks in as whatever sauce you use will not be able to properly cling to the noodles. Stirring the noodles occasionally as the pasta cooks is a good way to not make the noodles stick together.

I once bought a bread machine, but it never worked. It stalled on the first try. I guess I should have bought a better brand. My oven doesn't work, so I love to see how you cook and bake without an oven. It inspires me to do more cooking at home, without just using a microwave all the time.

오래된 추억이 잇는 물건을 버릴때가 왠지모르게 제일 서운한것 같더라구요 기계나 물건들이 오래되다보면 수명이 다해서 어쩔수 없는데 말이지요 플랜디님도 제빵기 내려놓으시고 가실때 잠깐 바라보시는 모습이 그래보엿던것 같아요

I once bought a bread machine, but it never worked. It stalled on the first try. I guess I should have bought a better brand. My oven doesn't work, so I love to see how you cook and bake without an oven. It inspires me to do more cooking at home, without just using a microwave all the time.
When you get a watery dough you can always add all propuse flour and it will fix it ^^
