Wow that seemed like a lot of adjustment (turns) for that amount of movement. I'm new to this so not a criticism just an observation. The manual on mine (Spirit) says to quarter turn maybe twice, so half turn max on a belt that's all the way over to one side.
Would be great, but it won't open up. The screws are so loose now, but wont come out. My treadmill is eqi smart walkingpad, and it's a lot different than treadmills and especially ones in america or any other country :(
@@coloradocardio called the manufacturer and took an hour to figure it out. Had to remove pieces to completely start over but I figured it out and understand now Your video encouraged me to call for help lol
Yes, if your belt is to the right then tighten the right side and it will move back and if it is too far on the left then tighten 1/4" each time don't over tighten
I had this same problem then I discovered that the floor wasn't level. I put a piece of plywood under the feet of the treadmill on lower side and now the belt stays centered.
Thanks for your help! This helped me troubleshoot a different treadmill. Didn’t realize I was adjusting the wrong side
Awesome, glade it helped
Thank you for sharing this video,I was getting aggravated but Ima try it again tomorrow.
You got this! Good luck
Thank you and I did it so thanks a bunch for sharing this video again 😉
Thank you for this! I had a different treadmill and spent two days trying to fix the belt. After watching this I fixed it under 10 minutes 😅 thanks!
Glad it helped!
Same here, we thought it would take hours to fix it😂. Thanks for the video
What about the belt at the front that keeps going on one side? Adjusting the back won't fix it.
How do you fix the belt moving forward?
yeah i fix the botom of the belt, its centered, but at the top of belt, on the left, its too xlose and rubbing against the smaller belt
Good sounds great.

These belts were newly placed on the treadmill and hadn't been tightened to the spec before this.
Thanks 👍
Welcome 👍
Are you releasing the tension or tightening it?
Yes
My belt is all the way to the left . What should I do
Here is a video I made for this:
th-cam.com/video/-SYNnv6bp-8/w-d-xo.html
It doesn’t work at all. Once I step on it it moves again. And when I tighten other side, it’s straight, but goes crooked once I step on it again.
It needs to be reset back in the middle and count the number of screws you do on eachside

I had the same problem and figured out the floor itself was slightly uneven…check for hyd that
Been sitting here for hours and dont understand
The tighter side is pulling
Loosen the tighter side, you can keep tightening one side or even both sides. You might just have to restart the process

So I need to tighten it up so it goes back to the middle?

Mine is centered perfect………until I start walking on it. Then it goes to the left ……???
You might be heavier on your left side, just saying. You can comp for this
