I was at the Scheessel Open Air Festival 1979? when the stage was torn down and burnt and when some people were carrying the bass drums of Golden Earring all over the festival ground. Last song was Radar Love.

Not many bands have a huge body of work as good as them. I'm fine if there's no new music, they gave us so many records and live shows to enjoy.

No shame at all, although it is a sad story. These guys gave there absolute A-game until it wasn’t possible anymore. Decades of quality and staying true to themselves. I was at their last show, looking back at that, not knowing it would end there made it more special. They were rock solid and everybody in there was just living in the moment.
