You need to make sure that the diffuser is built for a wide body. If you see how the edge is more sharp rounded then the bumper it is looking like you got one for a non widebody. Check the shapes they are slightly different.
Did you ever try too line the side that won't line up first too the other side that did line up when I was watching you that's what came too mind... But seems as if it's not right bout like shoe's different shoes you have to get a different size for them to fit...
Try both side tabs at same time, get them in holes then work in. It's not lining up with one side in first because that plastic has alot of flex. Or get the mid middles in first at same time then sides same time should line up much better. That's sucks bro good luck. Honestly tho it looks good how you have it now noticeable, if it can handle 100+ speeds your good
I think I started with the middle clips and worked my way to the edges from there. That way it should be centered and not pulling to one side, if you get what I mean. But I have the regular body diffuser, not widebody.
I got the exact same diffuser from Icon and installed it on my 2018 HC. It was not as tough as what ur going thru but my advice to anyone is to NOT beat it in. It will go but u will crack the gloss finish. I learned the hard way and had to buy some black gloss touch up paint to fix it.
I’ve installed a few diffusers and it depends on where you order it from. I’ve had a couple that didn’t line up so they were sent back and ordered from somewhere else.
Man do I ever feel your frustration! This is every damn project for me. Should have seen my goofy butt putting the led, smoked side markers on my Scat. I think I invented some new swear words in the 2 hours that 10 minute job took me. Same thing with the catch can I put on my wife’s Grand Cherokee. With that, one of the PCV hoses runs around the back and I couldn’t disconnect that thing to save my life. Every video made it look so simple and I turned it into brain surgery.
Its not just Ikon Motorsports, but alot of these rear diffusers don't line up correctly. I ended up snapping some of the tabs trying to install it, but as long you drill in enough screws it'll stay anchored down which you'll need especially for high speeds. You'll be surprised how much air can get up under there if not installed tight enough. Definitely worth the look though

Ya I started to do it, same ikon for WB, Had the same issues, and ended up just realizing that stock just looked better and not as cheesy. Returned it back to Amazon. But I don’t have the same exhaust and wicker as you, gloss black looks good on yours
I was told the Vicrez one went in pretty easy. I didn’t go that route because I wanted a gloss black on and they didn’t have it. I saw a few videos of people with the one I have and no one showed any issues on install. So I thought I was going to be good lol

Wow ... what a pain. You have patients of a saint. It looks good but damn the fitment sucks. Maybe you got a defective one. Send it back for another or try a different brand. Drilling holes in your car 🥵

Buy a Vicrez one. Fits perfect everytime.
I was going to but they didn’t have a gloss black on. May do it down the line if this one bugs me enough and get it painted

I didn’t beat it in. Was worried about breaking something on it. But the tabs on mine definitely don’t line up on it

I had the carbon fiber print looking one and it did the same exact thing. Hated that it didnt line up so I took it off.

I’ve been hearing this brand has that issue. But couldnt find a video of it on a charger. This tested my patience for sure!
