Even the best laid plans will have a glitch. I did change out some of my birthday starts sideline I would have too many large projects. You will have to watch my next video to see what I did. 😁

Loved the WIP parade! You have some beautiful projects going! I saw many I have in my stash to stitch one day so it is fun when you get to see them in progress! A little dangerous too because it makes you want to start them all - LOL! I struggle at times with trying to balance wanting to start things and keeping my wip count to a size that is manageable. I am drawn to a lot of larger pieces that take a lot of time so it can be challenging. The wips I have now I struggle already with stitching on them all in a one year period so I like your goal of trying to touch them all at least once in a month. I am hoping the rotation I am trying this year will help me get my older wips finished and still let me start some new things without feeling to guillty about it! LOL! Paisley is a beautiful kitty and her purr is so sweet! ♥ Happy stitching - Laura
Hi Laura, sorry about the late response. I totally understand about seeing so many projects that are in your stash and wanting to start them! It is great to see stitchers with similar taste in patterns, but dangerous too! I keep telling myself no more buying or starting new projects, but the kids in me says.. Just watch me! 🤣🤣🤣. With that said, I just started another new project. When will it stop!! Stitchers are just a bunch of enablers and projects are Crack!!! 🤪🤪🤪

I have 8 WIPs. My plan for 2024 is to randomly select one to stitch on the 1st of the month, then switch to another on the 15th of the month. I hope it moves me forward.
That sounds like a great plan. I need to get myself organized so I can follow through with mine. I'm trying to figure out the best way to do that. I have trying a planning calendar each year and it doesn't take long for me to stop using it. I am currently looking at a few different planning apps.
Are you still sticking with your plan? I joined in on Magazine Monthly Challenge which is CZookstitch FB group and I doing the challenge for March on hopes that I will get some stitching in on some older WIPs.
@@CrossMyStitches Yes, I have been sticking to this plan. I finished 1 WIP, then I added a new Leap Year Start project since that one was finished. Two weeks seems to be a good time frame for me to work on a project before I get antsy with it. If I am close to the switch date and at a good stopping point in the pattern, I might switch it up a day or two early. Most of my WIPS are medium to large projects.
