The strings and momentum is so good in this track. It has that Ringed City and some Old Hunters vibes, but the strings and percussion are crisper. Pretty amazing. Pretty excited.
Yep, it's a really good piece of music. I guess it's the main theme of the expansion or Messmer's theme? Either way, I look forward to hearing in the full version!
@@Solibrae It feels like Messmer's theme I think, but the quieter parts are very odd for a boss fight/track that has has such a galloping feel to, nothing in the base game has such a stride like this theme. Maybe the trailer mixed two tracks and that's why we we have that sense of suspense weaving in and out from another track, or not. We're gonna find out soon enough.
@@kimlee6643 galloping is a really good description. the main theme of the game is full of ambition, but this seems to be more like where that ambition leads. the excitement of galloping through new lands. that's my interpretation. I don't think this will be Messmer's theme, as he seems way more gloomy if not straight up villainous. but I know we'll be hearing this song if not just parts of it in the DLC.
@@imannam Saw a comment say that this track is for the final boss, however the final boss may be. This because DS3 DLC trailers had final boss music. I dunno, guess it could be the case. Main theme of ER ended up being the Radagon's theme too, so I can see it from that perspective as well.
Messmer's isn't aesthetically aligned with the track much, no, but it depends on the narrative/lore momentum as well. This is why Ludwig's theme fits, from beast to lucid honor-bound knight ready to kill. We'll see!

I've seen many people say that "Radagon's theme" isn't actually his, which is why it isn't called that. It makes the most sense to me, as different versions of it play throughout various points of the game. Imo, it's more like the Tarnished's ambition. Which is exactly what it sounds like.

Honestly, the wait would be so much easier for me if BN or From just released this particular musical track early. I'm unreasonably excited about the prospect of just listening to this music without dialogue or sound effects, because it's such a cool sounding song.
But hey, at least we've got this portion of it without other audio now, so that's nice at least. (0:06 - 0:14 is my favorite bit, it sounds awesome)
Unfortunately I doubt they'd do that, if I had to guess this is Messmer's theme, so giving out the "star of the show"'s theme early wouldn't be a good idea imo, as much as I'd love to hear the full thing.

I wish there was a statue of Miquella riding Torrent, that I would actually buy. I just don't know enough about Mesmer to consider buying this right now.
You know... the ultimate edition has a PHYSICAL HARD BOOK, a sound track, AN ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK, and a miniature (miniatures alone can go up to $150) for $250 and the DLC obviously. The catastrophe that is the new Star Wars game is $70 for the base game, the "ultimate" edition has a day one DLC that should be part of the game, Ubisoft is just soft locking content that's already there, and to add insult to injury the $130 comes with a DIGITAL book.
$250 is a lot but you sure are getting your money's worth.
