Have you thought about putting Myla on a probiotic? My youngest went through a rough patch like this when he was younger (he’s almost 21 and engaged 😊). We had him on that for almost a year because of the crude he dealt with. It really helped him.
Hugs to all the families going through this time of the year. It isn’t always easy.
I know this may seem small, but thank you Abbey for letting your daughter speak for herself even when you started and she interrupted. Thank you for just letting her order on her own and not taking over and helping her correct it. Your videos are so healing and seeing how happy Myla is and how close you guys are is so refreshing and really nice to see in such a negative world. Thank you for being a light. ❤❤❤
I love these vlogs. I’m in my 30’s now, but I loved going to Target with my mom. My parents divorced when I was 3, they were on great terms but he passed away when I was 12. My dad let my mom have me for all the holidays, and he just picked up extra shifts. I’m sure that was hard for him, now that I look back on it as an adult but I really didn’t think much of it as a kid. I hope he didn’t feel too alone.
I live far away from my family and I’m not seeing them at all this year. I’ve vowed this is my last year not getting any family time, but I do have people that feel like family where I am and I feel lucky that they take me in each holiday. But I’m a twin and I miss my mom and so I want them to be part of my holidays every year.

I like how you stopped your over active thoughts and realized that’s exactly what you prayed for and were grateful. Absolutely beautiful. A daily gratitude list can really help shift our mind to the positive way of thinking even during the trying times. ❤

i was always sick when i was younger but that’s mostly because my ears would get infected and then my immune system would be wasted trying to fight that that it made me more susceptible to other sickness. once i got the surgery for my ears i was fine.

I’m so sorry it took me this long. I have no experience with editing, and I have been learning everything on my own. But I’m glad I finally found a good software to generate captions and I’m so happy it’s been helpful 🫶🏽 xo

oh my gosh yes!! i’m hard of hearing and these captions help so much! the amount of creators i can’t watch because i can’t understand them and the youtube captions are actual trash is too many.

I think Myla is probably over stimulated with process of moving etc. And now the over commercialism of the holidays. Poor thing was overwhelmed with deciding if she wanted a drink or not-then being forced to substitute flavors.
I think a few days of nothing but rest, bone broth, green juice and no candy or junk food would be ideal in allowing her to fully recover. Meanwhile, I wouldn’t let her in public and around other kids exposing them to her illness.

Hosting Tips!
Use disposable plates and cutlery to minimize dishes. I also let everything sit in the sink until the next day 😱 Because I'd rather enjoy my time with people. I also don't want them to feel obligated to help clean either.
As a German ..... No way I will ever use single use items. Unload the dishwasher before guests arrive and just load it as the evening progresses. When it is full just start it.
It is beyond me how environmentally unaware Americans are.

Love that you will be hosting during holidays even if it’s a birthday party. I lost my Mom a little over 2 years ago and while then I hosted many family things, it is so hard to have my heart in it now. I was hoping this year would be a bit better and it is in some ways but nothing from Christmas Eve dinner to Christmas morning breakfast feels like it should. Prayers and peace to anyone who is experiencing sadness, loss or a new normal! Merry Christmas!

Mixed bag this year. Having our own christmas with hubby and kiddos.
Seeing my side but this year had to set big boundaries with hubbys side that did not go well, so wont be seeing them which will be really hard. Esp for my hubs. Have a wonderful time and rest and relax this season all

The holidays suck for so many people and I get it. I ain't celebrated a holiday including my own birthday in 22 years . I lost 5 members of my family in 18 days. My bio mom, my grandma, 2 aunts and then my step mother that raised me from 2 on up. My whole family stopped talking over greed. So I haven't put a tree up or anything
I get it...we haven't really had normal holidays since i was a young kid....too many family issues over the last 10-15 yrs....it sucks sometimes

Ugh I know, it seems like everyone we know is sick right now. Luckily, Myla finally got over it. Hers was viral, which was why we weren’t having any luck with the antibiotics. Just glad she’s better.. now I just need to keep her that way! Happy holidays!

When covid hit, the rug was ripped out from under us and ended up on the streets for a couple years. This is the first year since that that we are able to have an actual Christmas that we can watch movies together, eat pizza and drink sparkling cider.:) (as well as be able to afford gifts for each other even though thats not near as important. But its nice to be able to give things to others) so I'm feeling really excited about that! New years eve is actually my birthday. Normally my fiance would be driving out to see me but can't this year. So I will be hanging out with my family, baking a cheesecake and homemade pizza with my mom and watching the ball drop.:)

How has it been a month and I haven’t watched this yet.
