Fit filter. Cycle ignition on two or three times without starting for approx 10 seconds. Fuel & air will be heard returning to tank. Start engine & allow to idle for about a minute. (this is how I bleed them. never had a problem)
i didnt prime it , i took a little chance , filled the bowl up with fresh fuel after inserting the new filter n hey presto fired up first time , little bit of a cough as the air worked its way through , but lost hardly any fuel from the disconnected fuel lines so thought once the bowl was full of fuel it may start and it did , RESULT

How to disconnect the fuel lines? Is there something to pull, push or squeeze on them?
Yes there are push tabs on them & pull
