Mistakes were made
I love the HAW revelation, i use it often. People in fleets underestimate them because in theory they can tank the dreads DPS but not how it applies it, for example a fleet with a bunch of logi could tank a 3kdps HAW naglfar but will still lose ships because its still doing like 3k alpha damage every 2 seconds :) Revelation tracking is actually quite good though, once had an mwd jackdaw fleet orbiting me at 30km and i blapped them all quite easily.
good fights, tanks for sharing. as a feedback: f.e. minute 17 i see multiple times soft targets including TR targets that dont check their transversal. frigates going on a transversal of 0-7m/s. instead focusing on them you chose to pick high transversal targets. you could easily generate more killmarks if you have an eye on this :)

to improve the fiting of modules, study the fiting more thoroughly and how to exploit the bonuses of the ships that i still can not fly. How to deal with PVP situations. Seeing you doing these incredible matches gives me the strength to be a little more daring and scare less of the pvp, seeing that other players are very solvent in situations much more complex than those I find. In this sense, watching the use of modules and see how you manage distances, targets and primary objectives...
Where do you practice your PvP?
Lowsec systems nearby/around Verge Vendor basically when somebody wants to attack me, i never had the initiative to attack anybody
Ok, what you want to do is get some t1 frigates and head to FW lowsec. You can get fights easily and it's a great way to practice. You don't need to be in faction warfare, you can just go there, fly to novice plexes, and pick fights.
Even though I've seen your other vids on dreadnought pvp the strength of these beasts still surprises me :)

Eh. That was odd. I felt like a noob took over after you jumped through the gate. You went from being precise and methodical to random panic-mode. Lol. Good video. I haven't flown anything larger than a battleship myself, though I've been playing on and off since '08. Don't really have the support skills, but feel like I'd end up on my maiden voyage and getting insta-blapped by a ridiculously large fleet. :P After seeing your numbers, I went back to look at phoenix fit I'd made. Sits at 2400 dps (low side for dreads, I gather), and only reps about 3700/s with 68+ resists (I have ... I think maybe level 3 for dreads). But it's cap stable, even using a capital neut. Would love to know what sort of conflict that could tank... without having to actually put it in the water to watch it sink. :P
Aside from the latter half of this video, you show a good amount of control over yourself in being aware and your mod management. Not sure I'd have that until after I'd been through a few fleet fights like that. Lol.
I am absolutely panicing at the end of the second fight. It was my third fight in a HAW dread against a fleet, and in retrospect I made many mistakes. As time goes by and I get better, I think you see a progression of less panic, and more useful action under semi panic conditions, but even in some of the later fights, I have a moment where I am sort of under too much pressure and performance degrades. I think as my skill improves I am able to push it out further, but ironing out all mistakes remains an elusive goal.

LoL when the hurricane jumped on you at 400m roughly @12:00. The ideal range for his weapons are like 40km...
just about every PVP cane uses 425mm autocannons which has basically point blank range.
not to mention you want to get as close as possible in hope that the Dred might not be able to track you, you cant go toe to toe with a capital in a BC.

Is there some reason why you heat high-mid slots, but almost never heat low? It'd help you a lot at end. If reps was heated you'd get 2 cycles done before gate and more hp after.Not like I'm blaming. Great vids)
No reason, it's just a practice question. Things I'm good at when the fights are small, get harder when the fights get big and your attention gets stretched. Always appreciate the feedback, glad you enjoyed the videos.

Yeah, it's really true. Your heart starts pounding, you get some adrenaline going, and it's pretty hard to think clearly. Weirdly I actually do better in dread v gang fights because I have done more of them than battleship v gang.

I always tend to want more, I am a bit greedy. In this case it was a question of being one of my early fights in a HAW dread and I just did not know enough to see far enough ahead to calculate the consequences.

You are completely right. This was one of my first videos ever, and at that point I was panicking. I honestly did not even see the Geddon until I rewatched the tape. Ah well, great chance to learn.

At first, I didn’t, and I just jumped in and started swinging, later I developed a feel for who the local powers were and how long it would take them to get there (lots of talking with friends that FCed, lots of putzing around with jump range in Dotlan)

hey I'm looking for a new corp more focused in pvp and with maybe a null sec base. I'm still pretty much a noob when it comes to pvp, but I though that there cannot be better way to learn than being in it all the time. what corp you in? may I join it?
I have actually just switched from one corp to another, and I don't at present have the ability to vouch anyone in. If you are interested in learning PVP, have you thought about FW as a starting point? Either as part of an FW corp or as a "Pirate"? FW is a great place to learn PvP and develop skills.
None of them seem to be bothering with a tracking disruptor.. you know, might have been usefull.
Might have been, but siege module massively reduces eWar effectiveness.
What does the HAW mean?
High Angle Weapon, they are lower damage, higher application Dread guns (they apply a lot more like battleship weapons, than capital weapons). If you are familiar with RLML, it's a similar concept.

can use in game money to get skill points, but it costs a lot. Can RMT for in game money too in a roundabout way
I had a corpie who started to play Eve just to fly a Moros (another dreadnought) it took him almost a year just getting into it, took him another 6 months to fly it with modules. I think he even skipped the core skills (skills that generally boost the stats of your ship, like armor/shield hp, agility, ship speed, module efficiency and so on).
I guess planning for three years is safe.
Can I maybe do this with a T1 dread? I won't have skills for a t2 for 40 more days but I am dieing to try this solo thing

@@TrinityBigT No need to be sorry. I will mostly move around to get in front of a roaming gang. If you are fighting in an area you know, that roaming gangs come through, you will figure out who can and cannot drop you, and you can try to pick a fight with a gang that might be interested in fighting you.

They do sometimes, it depends who is around, what FCs happen to be available, who you are fighting, what you are in range of. I am very glad you enjoyed.

Going well till a little pannicky at the end , cap , tracking . logi are primaries...then wrk on ur scrammers and anything big and stupid thats hits a decent range. Did well tho and subbed to watch more...enjoying them. Take a smart bomb nxt time as a neut when fighting a big fleet is a bit of a waste ..however clearing a fuckload of drones isnt ^^

You are completely right, in some cases I am on top of target selection, but at the end of the GE- fight, I am under enough pressure that I did not even see the Armageddon. I learned he was on field when I was watching the tape later. Ah well, all opportunities to improve. Thanks for commenting.

That's true. Even if hotkeys are more efficient, you are unlikely to catch most of what he does.
