@@BunnyandBman yea for now i only wanted the grip warmers but when im very used to shifting normally i will get the quick shifter. But for now learning and some more learning ;)
How tall are you? Have you had the chance to go on longer trips (400km+) since you had the bike? Any problems with knee angle? I'm really torn between the trident, the cb 650 r. But i'm also looking into sportstourers like the versys 650 or the tracer 7.
I am 5’10 or 176 cm, no issues at all, the Trident is a very comfortable bike ergonomic wise. However as much fun as it is on the backroads, I would not recommend it for touring. It just lacks basic amenities like cruise control. The new Yamaha Tracer is amazing from what I read but I don’t have any personal experience.
@@BunnyandBman I bought the triple tribute paintsceme trident last saturday. I couldn't resist the looks even though the orange was great too. Whats the longest trip you took on your trident so far?
@@simracingyogi626 congrats! That is an amazing paint scheme. I use the Trident for mostly my local errands as I have a dedicated touring/long distance bike. That said, the main reason I don't like the Trident for longer hauls is the lack of cruise control. You would have to step up to the Street Triple to get it. I think longest I have done was about 2 hours with no issues comfort wise.
Can't blame a guy for trying? She had a nap and I think I was ok, lol. And yes, not bad at all in the sound department but agreed not quite as Guzzi good, I see another V7 in my future ...
Nope, the bike has been in the shop for the past month with an oil leak issue that the dealer has not been able to resolve so far. I am talking to Triumph USA directly now to explore possible solutions. There will be a follow-up video to this.
looks and sounds so good! will be getting my orange one soon when snow clears here in finland, cant wait since it will be my first proper bike ;)
You are going to love it, if there is one mod I would recommend, it is the quick shifter, once you start using it, you never go back ... =)

Did I just watch somebody weel their bike all the way out to the main road so their mom wouldn’t know they’re taking out the motorcycle?
Haha, maybe, things we do to not get caught with our partners when it comes to moto addiction… ;)
Quiet - LOUD - Quiet!😂 Sweet bike! Ride safe!
thanks, and yes, earplugs are a must ...=)

I don't know how you snuck out with a bike that loud. 🤣I'm sure it could be heard from 1/2 a mile away. Sounds almost as good as a vtwin.

It's more about getting far enough way so HE can say "I couldn't hear from that far away".😆😁😂🤣
@@ruahinesrider LMAO, right !!!
What is the name brand of the quick shifter?
It is the Triumph Quick Shifter that you can buy from any Triumph dealership.
Hey, does it void the manufacturers warranty?
Not at all, mine was installed by the dealer on day 1 and I had warranty repair after the fact with no issues.
@@BunnyandBmanthankyou for your reply, enjoy riding ❤

Question: why u dragging the bike when the video starts?
To sneak away in hopes my better half don’t hear me leaving… lol

Db installed?
nope, did not like how it changed the pitch.
Is this stock?
Not at all. Has the SC Project S1 full system. It sounds amazing, but it is not tame and earplugs are needed.
come si chiama il nome dello scarico?
SC Project S-1, made in italy! ... =)
